Chapter 8 - The Investigation Started

I knew they will ask their name first. I texted Suho, hiding mobile under the table,

"Don't tell your stage name.. tell them Kim Jun and tell Chanyeol too.. not to tell his real name. You can remove your mask if you want, they won't recognise you much. Rest I will handle."

Suho got the message. He showed it to Chanyeol secretly.

"So where are you from?" Rakhi led the investigation.

"South Korea" I replied.

"Ohk so that's the reason, you said yes to them, right?"
Manisha said.

"When did you come to Varanasi?" She asked.

"Day before yesterday. They are living in Radisson, in cantonment area." I replied again.

"Can't you shut your mouth Arushi. They can talk too" Navi said to me. I gave a 'Aishhhhh' expression to her.

"What's your name?" Navi asked.

"My name is Kim Jun" Suho replied.
"I'm Loey" Chanyeol said.

"Wow!! Can you take our Arushi with you? She wanted to go South Korea to meet some K-pop band and actors..I don't remember their names.." Manisha said trying hard to remember the names.

'No no please.. don't say now. Don't ask any questions further. I know you all know me well. But this is not the right time to prove it.. please God stop them..'

"Yes!! She is a big big fan of that group. What's the name of that singer..who is rapper in that band..in her good mood she always talks about him.." Rakhi too started trying hard remember..

'Oh God.. I'm going to be super embarrassed in front of them. Please someone stop them.. please'

"Yes yes!! Wait wait I know..she call him as her bias..his name is something like Chan..Chen.. Chanyeol!!!" Navi said finally.

'Shit.....what should I do now. I can't face them now. Oh God please take me away.' I didn't looked up. I was too embarrassed. What should I do with myself? What should I do with them? Whom to blame??

"Have you seen him? I mean can you recognize that person.. what's the name? Chanyeol?" Chanyeol asked jokingly.

I don't know what he is thinking but Suho..he must have felt.. I know he will not express but..

"How would we know? He is her bias..and secondly we don't have that much interest in K-pop bands and all." Manisha said.

"By the way, aren't you uncomfortable with your masks.. ohk here is our coffee." Our cold coffee arrived.

I didn't dare to look at Suho and Chanyeol. I was just drinking the coffee very silently, looking down.

"How is it? It's one of the best cold coffee of Varanasi." Navi said.

Chanyeol and Suho removed their masks slightly and started eating ice cream over the cold coffee.

"Ohk so here is the big news. For which we have been chasing you so that we can tell you." Manisha said.

I looked at her.

"My parents have approved my relationship..yes!! They don't any problem now. They have just asked to get engaged this year..and marry whenever we are ready.

Same thing happened with Rakhi too. Everyone has given their approval now. We finally succeeded in convincing them." Manisha told me.

I was amazed with news. I felt so happy for them. "Congratulations dears!!"

I went to their side and gave a big hug. "But how you all did this?"

"Both of them came to our respective houses with their parents. They talked face to face with both parties and we got positive response. We are really sorry not to tell you all these things before, coz you were too stressed regarding your interview. We were calling you that day to tell you but you left without meeting us." Rakhi explained everything.

I was literally happy for them. "So this year we will marry off Navi. And next year you too. Wow!! I'm super excited."

"Don't worry..by that time you will also have some scenes" Navi said.

"Haa..no way..I can't see anyone who will get ready to marry me" I replied

"Who is going to be married this year?" Suho was listening our whole conversation.

I pointed toward Navi. "She is going to get married soon."

"Wow!! Congratulations" both of them congratulated Navi. She got blushed.

"I guess you four are very good friends." Suho said
"We are best friends forever" they said.

"So are you all comfortable with her? What do you think about our city?"

"We are in love with your city. It's a peaceful place. Especially ghats.." Suho told them excitedly.

"Your friend is a good guide too." Chanyeol replied.
'Now it was my turn to blush'

"She is really a very nice person. I hope whenever I will come here again I will surely meet her again." Suho said.

Suho..he is such a sweet gentleman. I know he said it so that I don't feel awkward now. I guessed he sensed my that feeling.

"We have to go back to our labs. It's already 2 pm." Rakhi stood up first

"Yes..we will take our leave. And yes Arushi..don't worry about your interview. We have already talked to Prof.Singh.. Dev Sir (our senior whom we met at assi Ghar) helped us a lot. He has said affirmatively that Prof.Singh is considering you." Navi replied.

I finally got some good news.

"Till then enjoy your day. You both also. I hope we will meet soon." Manisha said.
And they left.

"Wow!! Congratulations to you" Both of them congratulated me. I was happy too but embarrassed too.
"Let's go inside the temple. The gardens are very beautiful."
"Sure, ladies first" Chanyeol said.

Both of them were walking behind me. I was still feeling awkward. It was because of this reason I didn't want to tell them when they asked first. Yes.. I was crazy for Chanyeol back then..I still like him a lot. But Suho is also my...

"Hey Arushi..is everything fine?" Suho came forward and asked while walking.
