The Miracle We Met

Chapter 6 - I'm in a Dream

Everyone standing there was cheering for my idols. I was feeling so proud of them. When they started shouting "Once more".. their face also lightened up.

I shouted "Please sing a song in your language"

Everyone else shouted "Yes, we need one more". They started again..

"Promise"..they literally sang this whole song. And I don't know why whenever I hear that song I usually get emotional. That same thing happened there as well. When they were singing "Promise", I , standing in crowd was in tears. I was controlling myself so hard not to cry. Hooting and applauses were everywhere. 

More and more people started gathering around them. They wanted to look at them. They wanted some more.

But that was enough. I went back to them. Took the guitar and returned it to that person. I hold their hands and started walking very fast, taking them away from the crowd. They were surprised too. What suddenly happened to me. After we left that crowd far behind. I released their hand.

"I'm really sorry for behaving in such a way. People were starting taking pictures and videos. I thought it would be best if we leave that place just."

Suho said, "Ohh thanks we almost forgot about it. Thank you..you saved us."
I smiled.

Now Suho was walking a few steps ahead of me. Chanyeol was behind me. I was in between them.

Suddenly Chanyeol came forward and after matching with my pace he said, "You were crying, right!"

I was shocked 'did he noticed' still I said, "What are you talking about?"

"Haa..now don't lie. I saw you in tears when we were singing Promise..is that your favourite song"Chanyeol said.

"It is my favourite song but I wasn't crying there. You must have mistaken." I replied.

I speed up by pace and came forward and started walking with Suho.

"What's next?" He asked

"It's already 3pm. Let's get back to hotel now. It will take 2hours again. If you want to eat we can eat somewhere here or we can eat near your hotel."
Chanyeol was still behind us.

"I'm not that hungry now and so must be Chanyeol. Let's get back to hotel. There is a restaurant in our hotel. We can dine there then you can go home. It will be my treat."

I nodded,"Ohk then let me book a cab.."

Luckily we got a cab early. The driver called and said he will be there in 5 minutes.

Suddenly, someone called me. We three stopped and turned. So he was Dev, my senior. I was taken aback to meet him here.

"How are you Arushi? I heard you gave your interview yesterday for PhD, how it went?"he asked.

'The same question which I am hating the most right now.'

"Yeah, it was not so bad.." I said in hesitation. I was feeling so awkward.

"Who are they? Your friends?"

"Yes, they are.."

"Ohh hello.."

All three of them shaked their hands.

"Are you here as their guide?"

"Aaaa..yessss"

"Why don't you take them to our university.. Please do visit it..you will surely like it."

"Yes, we are planning to visit tomorrow. Arushi said she will take us there" Suho replied.

"Ohk then I will meet you in BHU tomorrow, see ya. Take care."

He went. I took a deep breath. Suho and Chanyeol were glaring at me.

"Why were you so nervous Infront to him?" Chanyeol raised one of his eye and asked jokingly.

"Who told you I was nervous? I was not nervous at all..by the way let's go..our cab is here." I tried to distract them.

Soon we were in cab. We took the same position. I was sitting in front and both of them were at the back. They were taking their nap. I guess they were so tired after walking so much.

I got a call from my one of my friend.

"Are you coming to university tomorrow?" She asked.

"Yes I will be there but sorry I won't be able to meet you." I replied

"Why?? I've to tell you something!!"

"What??"

"No I can't tell you on phone. Meet me tomorrow positively..it's an order." And she cut the call.

By 5pm, we were right in front of their luxurious hotel Radisson. I haven't got much chance to visit that hotel coz it was actually out of my reach. Except a few event, I never visited that hotel. Suho paid for the taxi. And asked to follow him.

We three entered in the restaurant which was just after the reception area. The interior was so beautiful. I was literally drooling.. they ordered soon. By the time, our order was getting ready, we all three were busy on our phones. As soon as our order arrived, we jumped over the food. We all were super hungry. We finished all our meal in less than 15 minutes.

After some time, I took my leave.

"Will you get home on time? It's already dark" Suho said worriedly.

"Oh yes! My home is not that far from here. It will hardly take 30 minutes."

"Still you should call your brother" Chanyeol said in a  worried voice too..

"Gwaenchanha..I am totally fine Sunbenim and Ajusshi. As soon as I get back home I will give a miss call alright?"
Now they agreed.

I bade them goodbye and came out of the hotel. Luckily, I got taxi from there and after reaching home I gave Suho a missed call.

But at home.. everyone was giving me bitter looks. I really got scared. I went to my room when suddenly my mother bragged in.

"Where were you? What are you doing these days? Why are you doing this to us? What we have done to you? Have we given you type of ultimatum that you have to do this thing by this time.. no..then why are you taking so much stressed..we are really worried for you. We didn't talk about it yesterday but today you should have talked to us. Instead of doing it you again went somewhere without even telling us.." I could sense the stress she had coz of me.

I made her sit on my bed, hold her hands
and said," For now, just leave me alone. I promise I won't do any such things which will make you upset. Currently, I am living in a dream. I know it won't last long. But still I want to live fully in this dream. I don't want to regret that I couldn't do this couldn't do that. It will be over soon but till then trust me..

I will be back soon in my previous life but for now let me go for this time..just once."
