Chapter 7 - My friends were Suspicious of Me

My mother didn't asked anything. She left me in my room and went. I didn't think much that day. I was soon asleep.

Next day, at 8 'o clock I called Suho. And told him to be ready as I would be there by 9:30 again.

I came out of my room fully dressed for breakfast.

"Where are you going again? Generally you take 3-4 days rest after your exams..why not taking this time?" My brother asked

"I'm going to meet Exo." I replied in casual way.

"There she goes again. Mom, you said she is stressed I should not poke her much. But see she is normal. She is again talking about her Kdramas and K-pop world. I don't know when she will come out of these things. I'm telling you mom, just get her marry otherwise she will be lost in that world."

I knew no one would believe that I was going to meet Exo but wait..marry..

"Hey, what did you say? Say it again and you won't be able to stand on your legs." I shouted at him.

"What's happening here again? Can we have at least one day breakfast peacefully." My father came saying these.

And we closed our mouth and started taking in breakfast.

It was again 2hours journey to BHU through cab. We reached there 10min before 12 noon. It was a pleasant day. They were again fully covered with their overcoats and all.

I told them to be extra careful there coz they might get into trouble in case someone would recognized them. Because it was student area and K-pop and Kdramas were quite popular among youth there.

"Will it be alright if we walk till Vishvanath Temple VT. It's in the middle of the campus. That way I will show you all the department and greenery beauty of our campus."

They had no issue.

"I took my bachelor degree from this department. We used to have so much of fun..From this department, I took my masters degree. You know we went to our college trip in a hilly place.."

I was telling them everything non stop. In a way I was remembering those things which were like my golden periods. I was so happy while telling them these things.

Suho and Chanyeol were listening to me like a good listeners. They were also showing interest by asking questions too.

We were still walking in random positions. Sometimes Suho was leading us. Sometimes Chanyeol and sometimes it was me. After 20 mins of walk..of course we were walking very slowly.. we reached VT. We were just about to enter the main gate of the temple when I heard my name again.

"Hey Arushi, you b*t**."

I got surprised and turned around. Suho and Chanyeol turned around too..

They were my friends..Navi, Rakhi and Manisha. They were looking furiously at me. They walked in a very fast way towards me as if they were coming to beat me.

"I told you yesterday to meet us, right. Still you didn't call "Manisha said angrily.

"Luckily, I saw you in front of my department. You were just passing by with two guys. Yes, there they are." Rakhi said.

My friends were already enrolled in PhD in different departments. They qualified it in their first attempt.

"I'm really angry with you. You didn't even picked my call on that interview day." Navi complained.

I was standing there with my head down. Because I knew I did wrong.

Poor Suho and Chanyeol they were just standing there trying to understand the situation.

"I'm really sorry. But believe me I have something very important to do. I'll surely meet you after 1 week and will explain everything."
I replied

"Are you mad?? You will meet us after 1 week even if you are here in the same city." They shouted at me.

"Listen, I've a few guests with me. I can't leave them alone. They will be here for a week so that's why.." I tried my best to calm them down.

"Are they your guest?"Navi said adjusting her specs.

"They are foreigners" Rakhi exclaimed.

"I can't believe" Manisha said doubtfully.

They started walking toward them.
I walked fast and came between Suho & Chanyeol and friends.

"Hey, what are you doing?" I said

"Who are they?"

"They are my father's friend 's guest. They wanted to tour around Varanasi so I agreed to show them." I said it in one breath.

"Ohk then let's have cold coffee together. All six of us." They said. I guessed they still didn't believe my story so they wanted to investigate more.

"No problem" Suho said.

'No he should not have said yes for it. I don't know what they are going to do with them.'

Next we were sitting in a small restaurant, near VT, which was quite popular for cold coffee.

3 persons on one side.. Rakhi, Manisha and Navi.. 3 persons on other side..I, Suho and Chanyeol.

In between us was a small table.

It was like..ohk let's start our investigation..
