Readers POV

"So what's the plan?" Niko said as the others attentively listen. They were in their usual table. Almost all of the gang was there

"What plan?" Jane asked slightly confused

"For the Top 1s birthday of course!" Zamantha screeched which made the others excited

"Ok as usual, surprise party in her house on Saturday. Aunt Emma would be on her day off on that day so we could get a little help decorating the living room. As for keeping Lonnie distracted, she could do it herself" Rina said as scribbled something on her paper

"On Saturdays, she usually stays up in her bedroom the whole day and only goes out for food since her bathroom is already connected to bedroom. The party goes on till Sunday" Niko said

"What? Does this mean-" Ben said confused

"A sleepover? Yes" Ady interrupted

"Ok. What do you guys usually do on Lonnie birthday?" Ben and Jane asked

"Surprise parties, slumber parties, pool parties, etc." Zamantha said

"What the heck! That many parties in 1 day?" Ben asked surprisingly

"Her house is pretty huge. She has multiple rooms like the game room, sleep over room and more so we could have multiple parties" Ady said as the two were shocked

"Yes. Now-"

"Is she a billionaire? Is her house really that huge?" Jane interrupted Rina who was almost loosing her cool.

"Y'all better listen up to miss Karate master over there. I'd stop if I were you" Niko said as he noticed Rina who glared at him. The group stop talking, afraid if something bad might happen

"I ain't that scary, Niko. Anyways, Aunt Emma will serve her breakfast in bed while we decorate the room. If she goes out, Aunt Emma will keep her busy..." Rina said as they began chatting more about the party.

"Speaking of Lonnie, where is she anyways?" Ady asked. Rina smirked as the rest of the group looked around the cafeteria, noticing someone else wasn't also there

Meanwhile~

"Louis-Haha-stop!" The girl giggled as the boy tickled her. How did they get into this situation you may ask? Well, it was lunch time and they were free for the rest of the afternoon. Louis took Lonnie on a picnic (or should I say date) which she agreed to. They were on a high hill just slightly afar from the school. They both sat as the girl squealed.

"Red Velvet Cake!" Screeched the girl as Louis sliced a piece which Lonnie almost grab it but only to be stopped by a hand

"Eat the lunch first, then the cake" Louis said he laughed at how adorable she look

"Fine. I don't get this though, how come the others couldn't make it?" The girl said as she grabbed a chicken sandwich from the basket

"Well, since classes are only a half day today due to the teachers meeting, their families already had plans with them" Louis said casually like he rehearsed. He knew Lonnie was way too smart for anything so he got prepared and rehearsed any possible answer for that curios mind of hers. The girl nodded and took a bite while the boy also did so. They ate in silence, not an awkward silence, a peaceful silence to be exact. A few minutes later, Lonnie was done eating and had something on mind. She grabbed Louis' bottle of which he was about to drink and ran away. Louis who was in the process of what happened, looked behind him only to see a playfull smirk on the girls face. He got up and started chasing her with laughs and giggles on the way. Lonnie hid behind a tree but then, she was trapped by a hand earning a squeak from her. Louis had his hands against the tree with Lonnie in the middle. Seeing the situation, the girl flushed a deep red earning a smirk from the boy. The boy leaned forward which led the girl to lean also but with her eyes closed expecting a kiss, instead of a kiss, the boy tickled her which filled the place with cute laughs. The laughing girl tried to run away but that made it worse, the boy tickled her harder in a way of not hurting her of coarse. The girl scrambled to get away again only to be stopped by strong arms. The tickling stopped and now she was in the boys arms hugging her from behind. The girl turned around and hugged the boy back. They stayed like this for a while. Louis was the first one to look up, grabbing the girls chin to make her look up at him. The boy debated if he should kiss her or not. Eventually he decided to kiss her which lead the girl to kiss back. A minute or so the boy pulled back to put their foreheads together. He looked into her eyes as if he's finding something

"Louis, I-"

"I know, Lonnie. You're still afraid aren't you?" The boy said softly while looking at her now glistening eyes

"You're afraid to be hurt but listen to me, I'll never hurt you ok?" He said as he hugged the girl again

"You know about it don't you?" Lonnie asked slowly tearing up

"Lonnie, I know it hurts when the one who you confessed to doesn't return those feelings to you, believe me I know, yes it still hurts but your heart will heal. You don't have to bottle it up inside. You have me and our friends to be there with you, ok?" The boy said as he caressed her hair as the girl silently cried on him. It stayed like that for awhile with Louis chanting 'its ok's and other calming words for Lonnie to hear. Eventually she calmed down and they went back to their picnic spot for them talk.

"So how did you know" Lonnie asked as she looked at the sky while Louis was slicing more pieces of the cake.

"Rina and the others told me. I might have begged them in order to do so.." he trailed off as he gave her a piece and a fork

"Typical of them. Do you know everything?"

"I think, I didn't ask much though. They said it happened a year ago at your old school." He said as he stared at her

"Hmm alright. Just don't tell anyone. I trust you" Lonnie said as she focused on eating the cake

"I won't tell a soul. Besides, they may or may not have threatened me if I do tell or do something about it" he said with a  laugh

"Rinas the scariest though" he added which made the girl giggle at her bestfriends over protectiveness

"Agreed. Just don't do anything to push her buttons then you'll be fine" She said as they laughed

"Hey, Lonnie"

"Yeah?"

"I'll wait for you, ok?" He said as he began cleaning up and eventually he was done and began taking Lonnie home in silence to let her think. Lonnie thought about his words. A part of her wanted to be with him but the other part says no and you'll get hurt. She thought about how caring Louis is her to. How he saw her vulnerable side and didn't even criticize her for it instead, he took care of her and be there for her. This thought made her smile. She realizes that she's so lucky to have him as a friend or something more. Her heart was screaming yes while her brain says no. The duo stopped as they were already on her doorstep. Before Louis could go, she decided to follow her heart.

"Louis, I like you too" the girl said as she peck his cheek. His face flushed a deeper shade of red. The girl was about to go but was pulled by a hand. He hugged her and pecked a kiss on her forehead

"I'm glad" he said as he let go of her

"So is it official?" Lonnie asked with a cute grin

"Of coarse, you cutie" Louis said as he kissed her again to make it official

Bonus: Back at school

"What the hell are you smiling at?"

"NOTHING"
