Chapter 23: Drama

Readers POV

"What... what do you mean it's your fault? You did nothing wrong, Louis" Lonnie asked giving space between the 2 of them. Rina went back inside, knowing it's best that the 2 of them should talk. Besides, who's gonna watch Emma in case she wakes up?

"I did this. I work for a company. I knew this could happen and I did nothing about it... I was only a spy and was told to-"

"You... You're using me" Lonnie sighed

"What? Lonnie, I-"

"You don't love me, you're only dating me for that company of yours." Lonnie paused to collect herself. Louis tried to get a hold of her but she backed up

"I should've known.... You're just like everybody else. Once you get what you want, you'll throw me away just like everybody does.." Lonnie backed up once more, her walking almost turning running

"Lonnie, just hear me-"

"No need. I already know everything" and with that Lonnie sprinted out of the hospital. Louis tried to ran after her but she already was out of sight. He sighed as he went back in and into Emma's room where Rina sat. Rina was just using her phone till a teary eyed Louis brought her attention

"What happened? Where's Lonnie?"

"She ran" Louis says as he sat beside her. Rina put her phone away and turned to Louis' side

"She ran right before I could explain everything to her" he said as he sighed.

"Explain" Rina said with a serious tone

"Well...."

Timeskuip~ after a long ass explanation~~

"No wonder, she ran away. She may be the top 1 but she's not very good at feelings so that's explains it.. but seriously, YOU'RE A FCKING SPY, MAN. WHO WOULDN'T THINK THAT" Rina whispered shouting, almost shaking the sht out of Louis

"Uggh. Let me go, Rina. Just let me continue" Louis says as he was almost shaken as a milkshake

"Ok,ok." Rina stopped and let go of Louis. Louis straightened his shirt and continued talking

"So the thing was that I over heard that my boss and this other guy who is in a higher position than him. The guy mentioned a flute and wanting Lonnie. He also addressed my boss as a Prince and everything clicked."

"So that's why you knew something bad is gonna happen. Prince you say?" Rina said as she thought for a bit

"Yeah and my boss wasn't normal though. When I met him, he had blood red eyes. In the incident, I caught him with blue ones until he was put in a machine. He was somewhat caring of Lonnie though...." Louis stopped talking for awhile as Rina waited impatiently.

"So that's when I knew that my boss is Lonnies brother" Louis sighed once again.

"Ok. I get it."

"You're surprisingly calm" Louis says as Rina gives him a 'I'm fcking serious' look

"About Lonnie... just give her space for the mean time. I'll talk things out with her" Rina simply said

"You'd do that?"

"Duh. You guys are couple goals. Also, I don't want to see her covering her sad side..." Rina says as Louis gave had worsen his guilty face.

"Call her over dramatic or whatever but people don't know her other side of her story so-"

"Yes! I get it. You don't have to rub it in. This ain't philosophy class!" Louis shrieked shaking out of the scenarios in his head

"Which side are you in?"
