Chapter 20: Keeping Her Busy

Louis POV
I got back from my date with Lonnie. After I dropped her home, I went to my house. I opened the door and it was empty as always. I then saw my mail. One from my dad and one from my job. I opened my dad's envelope first to reveal some money and a letter, the letter said that he won't be back for another few weeks. I sighed. I opened the other envelope to see my payment and a note right beside it.

Nice job watching the little girl, Sky. Be at the base before 11. I need to discuss things with you in person.

I gulped as memories came in my head.
I put down the paper and looked at the clock, 9:30 it read. I changed into my spying suit, grab my bag and headed out. I speed walked to the base and in no time, I was there. I went to my room and waited for my 'master' to be here. It feels weird calling him that. I played the memories that were running around in my head. So my boss's name is Luke. Who the hell was torchering him? What does Lonnie have to do all of this? Did he mention, 'prince'? What's that all about? What's the deal with a flute? I sighed as confusion corrupted me. Then, the door opened to reveal Luke with blood shot eyes

"Ah, Sky. Thank you for coming to work this late at night. There's something I want from you" he paused as he sat down on a chair right beside me. I waited till he continued

"I want you to keep the girl busy for the whole week" he said as his voice was getting darker

"Why?" I asked, trying not to sound worried or concerned

"Its none of your business. Now, you'll start tomorrow. Get some sleep, child" he says as he stands and headed to the door. Before he fully went out, I caught a glimpse of his eyes glitching to blue from bloodshot red. My eyes went wide, trying not to freak out. I breathed in and out to calm myself. I decided to sleep since it was getting late.....

Timeskip~~ Friday noon~

Lonnies POV
Louis is clinger these days. What's up with him? Well, I'm not complaining and I love being with him but he follows everywhere I go and doesn't leave until I get home. We're currently in the living room playing or watching our phones with the squad. Louis lied down on my lap, playing with his phone while I did some homework. It was quiet but we liked it. I looked around the room to see the usual things they do. Something's weird though. Ben is getting a lot closer with Zam. I poked Louis shoulder

"Hmm?"

"Is it just me or are they?" I asked as I pointed at them who was side by side watching a movie

"Maybe. Ben did say he's got someone on his mind for awhile" My boyfriend says as he stopped playing his phone and hugged me from the behind

"??"

"What? Can't I hug my girl? Also, I think you need something to lay on since you've been on that notebook since we got here" he says as I leaned on him, making him smile

"Happy now?"

"Very happy"

"Hey guys, mind if I put in a movie?" Niko said

"Sure" the squad instantly says. Rina and I went to the kitchen to 'look' for snacks

"You guys want anything?" I asked from the kitchen

"Some Doritos would be good"

"Do you have Nachos?"

"Gummies!"

"Skittles flavored Popcorn" they said as Rina snapped her fingers and the food appeared

"Don't forget Cheetos and Pringles, Rin"

"Y'all are gonna get sick and that's coming from me" Rina says as my food appeared

"We won't. It's been along time since we ate junk food" I said as I opened the food

"Hey! Any requests for the drinks?" Rina said

"We're good with anything" they said

"You pick, Lonnie"

"Lemonade would be nice. It is healthy"

"Lemonade coming up" she says as a piture of lemonade appeared in front of me

"You know, it's starting to get hard on hiding our powers. It'd be easy if we just tell them" She added. I stayed silent for awhile

"Hey, you guys need help?" Louis says as he went to my side

"Sure, Louis. You go grab some of the food while we bring the drinks and glasses"

"Alright" he says as he picked them up and started going back to living room with us trailing behind. We put everything on the table and the movie began. We sat and lied there as the opening scene flashed on the screen.

Timeskip~after the movie~~

Readers POV
Most of the squad already left witch made Louis, Rina and Lonnie behind. They were cleaning up the room.

"You know there was a movie that involves powers. Having one could be cool" Louis said as the duo tensed up

"Erm, yeah it'll be cool but it won't ever happen. Like the telekinesis power, I'd always want to float things and stuff." Rina says as Lonnie gave her a look. You know, I already have that power. Lonnie thought as Rina read her mind. Her eyes going wind. Rina gave her a surprised look. We'll talk later. Lonnie thought as Rina nodded

"Hey Lonns, you're oddly quiet. You ok?" Louis says as he went to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking of stuff"

"What stuff?" He said as he eyed her

"Uh, school stuff. The quarterly tests are almost here so uhm, yeah" she said as they were done cleaning

"Hmm. Alright. I better get going now, it's late" he says as he looked at his watch.

"Ok" she replied as he kissed her forehead (like he always do) and went to the door.

"See you tomorrow, guys"

"Bye" the duo said together

"So I don't entirely believe the test excuse, you thinking of our powers, huh? Also, when did you get the telekinesis power?" Rina says as the Lonnie leaned against the wall

"I actually learned it after my date with Louis last Monday"

"Dude, its Friday and why didn't you tell me before?"

"You forgot that I had 'Top 1 things to do' everyday"

"Right, sorry. So how did you get it?"

"After the date, I was too tired to get my phone from my nightstand and purple stuff surrounded my phone and it went to my hand. At first, I thought I was too tired that I was imaging things but I was not so yeah" Lonnie explained as Rina nodded

"Wanna see?"

"Duh" Rina says as a purple flare began surrounding a pillow. Lonnie used her pointing finger as a controller. Before Lonnie could put back the pillow, Louis knocked and peeked in

"Uh hey, I forgot my- WHAT IS THAT?"

"Uuhhhhhhh"
