"You're probably laughing at me now."
I was standing outside the high-end condo where Miguel left me. I was welcomed by a pair of sympathetic eyes. But I know better. Bryan was standing in front of me. He stepped closer and offered his arms. I refused. My hair was blown by a cold air. I looked up and closed my eyes. Ah. It was a gloomy afternoon. I used to loved this kind of weather but since I met my ugly owl, I started to love sunshine more than this. Ngayon, hindi ko na alam.
Imiulat ko ang mga mata ng maramdaman ang patak ng ulan na tumatama sa aking noo. I smiled bitterly. Now I came back to my senses. Miguel, the love of my life just cheated on me. I chuckled. He might probably think that I also tried to killed his child. Nice. My life fucked up.
"What happened? Did you caught him?" Bryan pulled me and escorted me inside his car. The rain started pouring so damn hard. So as my tears.
"I told you. He's not as good as you think. Maraming tinatago sa iyo ang hayop na iyon."

"He's so obsessed with his revenge Jessica. That bastard just used you para gantihan ako."

I held the hem of my dress tightly. My veins appeared.
"Miguel?"
"Hmm?"

"Hindi ko magagawa sa iyo 'yon. I have my world with me already. Bakit ko gagawin ang bagay na pwedeng sumira ng mundo ko?"
I put all my trust to him. Akala ko iba s'ya. Sabi n'ya iba s'ya. I was so drowned with his lies.
"Jessica listen." Bryan raised my chin and made me look into his eyes.
" Remember the guy that I mentioned before? The guy who instructed his sister to sleep with me?"

"His brother, his brother was so obsessed to destroy me. Gusto n'ya akong gantihan dahil sa inggit. He knew you. Alam n'yang ikaw ang kahinaan ko kaya i-inutusan n'ya si Sofia na takutin ako."

"That guy," My heart stopped beating for a second.
"Was Lance Miguel."
