Chapter 10

Jade's P.O.V

Todays my birthday, I'm really happy! I hear a knock at the door, "Jayk can you get it? I'm almost ready!" I yell.
"It's your friends!" he yells.
"I'll be right down!" I yell. I finish getting ready and walk downstairs. All the boys are sitting on the couch, in their suits. They look so cute. They give me a round of applause as I walk down the stairs. I smile and roll my eyes. I walk over to my friends, (Katie, Annabelle, Lizzy and Gracie) they look stunning.
"Hey guys! Are you excited?" I ask smiling.
"Yeah!" they all say.
"Are you guys ready yet?" I ask the boys.
"Yeah we were just waiting for you, let's go," Jayk says. We offered to bring my friends to the party because all of their parents were busy. We go outside and sit down in the limo the boys rented.

**At the party**

We walk into the party, I haven't seen the place before, Jayk planed the whole thing. We wait a few minutes for more guests to show up since we came early. There's a big purple chair that I'm supposed to sit on. It looks really comfortable. I sit on it while the rest of the guests arrive. My friends go to their table since the boys are about to do the intro for my party. When they finish the intro, the music comes on. It's a really fun party so far. I look around and T.C and his parents walk up to me. "Jade these are my parents," T.C says.
"Oh I remember them!" I say, smiling.
"Hi Jade, you look so beautiful tonight," his mom says, kissing me on the cheek.
"Thank you," I say.
"Happy birthday Jade, I hope you're having fun tonight," T.C's dad says.
"I am, thank you Mr. Carter," I say.
"See T.C, you should date a girl like her," his dad says.
"Dad, she has a boyfriend," T.C says.
"Well I'm going to go talk to some other guests, it was nice meeting you," I say, while giving them both a hug. I hug T.C and kiss him on the cheek and walk off. I walk over to blake. "Hey Blake sorry to bother you I just can't find my friends," I say.
"No it's fine, whats up?" he asks.
"Nothing much, where is everyone?" I ask him.
"I'm not sure," he says. I nod my head. All of a sudden, 'I Wouldn't Mind' starts playing. I laugh, I knew they had planned something. One by one, each of the guests give me a rose, Devin is the last to do so. Jayk takes all the roses from me so that I can dance. We perform our duet, knowing exactly what to do. It was so much fun. After we dance, the band performs their songs and invite me to come on stage with them. They ask me to sing Love On Lock with them and Blake hands me a microphone. I'm a bit nervous because I can't really sing, but I do it anyway. It's so much fun being on stage, now I know why the band loves it so much. "I wake up in the morning, got you right by my side. Feel your love in the silence, like I'm reading your mind," I sing the familiar words of the song. At the chorus, we all do the dance they do in the music video. I know it by heart. They look at me like I'm crazy but I just laugh. When the song ends, they all hug me. After they perform a few more songs, my friends and I are invited on stage. We each sit down in the five seats. They start singing 'About You' to us. Devin sings to me, Blake sings to Katie, Jayk sings to Lizzy, T.C sings to Annabelle, and Drew sings to Gracie. This is the best party in the whole word, I think to myself. Until....
