The Jensen family sat at the breakfast table as they teenagers explained the events of the night before to Lainie and Matt. "They took all of our laptops, Clay's backpack-" Justin explained.

"And my phone." Clay finished.

Lainie sat down at the table directly across from her son. "And what, if anything, will they find on your phone?"

"A text... to Bryce." Clay spoke as he looked down at his lap.

"And what did it say, my dear brother?" Elizabeth asked, already knowing what it said. But she knew Clay did not want to tell his parents.

Clay looked up at his sister and sent her a glare. "Saying I want to kill him." Lainie makes expression changed to disappointment. "It was after homecoming and everything. I came home, and I was sitting here, and I was mad. That's all. It was just words. I deleted them, but..."

Lainie took in a deep breath before speaking again. "I will talk to Dennis this morning, and we will sit down with him after school. And you talk to no one about those texts or anything to do with the case." She looked over at Elizabeth and Justin. "That means you, too." The two nodded in response.

"Clay, did Bryce do anything to you?" Matt asked as he sat down. "Did he threaten you? Did he say something to you on the field that night?"

Clay looked down and shook his head. "No."

"Then why the text?" His father questioned him. Clay didn't actually have an answer for him.

"He ignored everything!" Jessica exclaimed as she rushed into the HO meeting place after talking to Principal Bolan. She had asked him to cancel the homecoming game to send a message. He refused even though he had received forty-seven voicemails from students telling him to cancel and saw a petition signed by over a third of the student body.

"Such bullshit." Casey groaned as she rolled her eyes.

Jessica looked over at all the girls at the table. "No more wasting our time. We need to do something huge."

"You're right, Madame President." Elizabeth smiled as she leaned onto the table, excited to hear more from her friend.

"The homecoming game is in two days. We need to get in there and get ur message out." Jessica explained to the members.
