Elizabeth Jensen sat at the breakfast table with her parents and brother on Christmas Eve. "Clay, honey- um- you sure you don't want to come with us to the facility today?" Lainie Jensen questioned her son. "Might be fun."

"When is anything called a facility ever fun?" Clay Jensen asked as he stabbed his fork into his pile of scrambled eggs.

Elizabeth sent her brother a smile. "I know that Justin would really like to see you. He keeps telling me how he misses you a ton." Justin Foley had spent the last month in a rehab facility, trying to become drug free. He was coming home later that day.

"I'll see him at home." Clay shrugged. "At the party."

Lainie looked down at her plate, clearing her throat. "Clay, your- um- first-semester grades came in yesterday."

Clay furrowed his eyebrows, looking up at his mother. "How do you have my grades."

"The school email." She explained. "As always."

"Oh." Clayed nodded, letting out a deep sigh. Elizabeth took a sip from her drink. "Right. I didn't-" He looked up at his mother. "I didn't do too well on my finals."

"Which is understandable." Matt Jensen smiled.

"We're going to talk to the school." Lainie continued.

Clay's eyes widened. "No!"

"We're going to talk to them about some allowances for what you've been through," Lainie let out a sigh, "but, Clay, you need to be thinking about college." Clay looked down at his food. "Have you finished your apps? We just want you to feel like you can come to us for anything, but if you don't feel like you can come to us for anything then I think we need to start thinking about starting up again with Dr. Ellman."

Elizabeth noticed her brother's panicked look and put her hand on his, asking, "You okay, du-"

She was cut off by her father dropping a dish as he started to wash some plates. "Shit!" He exclaimed before turning towards his family. "Sorry."

Lainie leaned closer towards her son. "So, Clay, what do you think?"

"A-About what?" Clay stuttered.

"About seeing Dr. Ellman again." Elizabeth answered for her mother.

Clay closed his eyes and shook his head. "Um- I don't know." He picked up his plate of food, which hehad barely touched and stood up from his seat.
