"Best eyes?" Elizabeth stared down at the 'Hot or Not List' that Zach Dempsey had placed in front of her. "Who would put my name down?"

Zach let out a snort before pointing towards Justin, who lifted his hand, sheepishly. "You do have some really nice eyes, Jensen." Justin Foley smirked from his seat in the classroom.

"Shut up, Foley." Elizabeth's eyes lowered down the list and landed on best and worst ass. "Best ass : Hannah Baker. Worst ass : Jessica Davis." She whispered to herself before looking back up at Zach. "Alex wrote that? Isn't he dating Jessica?"

"Was." Zach corrected her. "They broke up."

"Shit." She sighed, rolling her eyes. "Well this is sexist and seriously messed up."

"I know." Justin smiled as he stood up. "If I were you, I'd go straight to the problem."

"I mean, mine's not that bad, but Hannah and Jessica's? What the hell was Alex thinking." Elizabeth frowned as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Hannah's going to be more than upset about this."

"Well, maybe you and I could talk about it sometime over coffee?" Justin moved closer to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder's.

"Why the fuck would I ever go to coffee with you?" Elizabeth scoffed as she pushed him away. "You're a complete douche." Justin shrugged as he walked away. Elizabeth frowned before shaking her head, chuckling. She sat down at her desk before the teacher started talking.

"So, today we are going to jump into social learning theory." The teacher spoke as she wrote the subject on the chalkboard. "The theory is that people learn by observing the behavior of those around them. Can anybody give me an example of this?" No one spoke up or even raised their hands. "Clay?"

"Uh- yeah." Elizabeth's brother stuttered out. "An example would be like slang." The teacher nodded. "If somebody starts saying one word, eventually everybody's saying it."

"Very good! So, one person's opinion or bias can influence the rest of the group." The teacher continued with her lecture to the class. "This theory can be applied to criminal behavior." Elizabeth watched as Alex's list got handed to Hannah. She sighed. That would not end well. "If a young person's friends or family participate in deviant acts, that young person is more likely to do the same."

After that, Elizabeth stopped listening to her teacher and focused on her best friend. Hannah looked around, obviously embarrassed. People were giggling in their side conversations, looking at her. Justin leaned closer to Elizabeth, considering they sat next to each other. "There's nothing you could have done about that list, 'Liza." He spoke softly. "Don't beat yourself up about it. It's not your fault." She looked right into his eyes and nodded.
