week long getaway

Caitlin's pov: I packed my suitcase with enough clothes for a week and then waited for Iris to finish packing so we can meet up at the train station. Then my phone rang and I had gotten a text from Cisco.
~Texts~
Cisco- Hey Cait are you coming to Star Labs later today?
Cait-I don't think so, why?
Cisco- Barry was wondering. Don't tell him I told you he wants to see you and talk but wants to act like he doesn't care but he does
Cait- sure?
Cisco-I'm not kidding he's pacing back and forth right now
Cait-ok lol. I'll call him later I'm meet Iris soon so I should go.
Cisco-ok well then, by Caitlin have fun
Cait-bye

There was a knock at the door, I went over and it was Skylar and Jackson... I opened the door "mom! you didn't tell me you and dad kissed!" She said hugging me. "Hi Caitlin" Jackson said closing the door behind him. "How did you-" I asked Jackson cut me off "I was passing by when it happened. Sorry I had to tell her" he said "it's fine" I said. "So are you to dating now? Is Snowbarry official?" She asked "what's a snowbarry?" I ask "oh boy" Jackson chuckled. "Cisco's ship name for you and dad Caitlin Snow and Barry Allen. Snowbarry" she squealed "Cisco came up with a ship name for us?" I ask they nod "so??? Are you and dad together?" Skylar asks I didn't want to tell her the truth but I did. I sighed "No Sky... we aren't" I said her smile turned to a frown "oh" she said "but you will eventually" Jackson said exchanging a look I realized that "I have feelings for him I just don't want to date that all" I said awkwardly smiling "shoot Iris is waiting for me, can one of you speed me to the train station please?" I ask and Jackson nods and runs me there were Iris was waiting. "You took forever" Iris said playfully punching me in the arm. Then she realized Jackson was there "I know you two are getting away for a few days... Caitlin told me" he said "i'm sorry but him and sky showed up and I didn't know what to do" I said "don't tell anyone about this please" Iris said to her son "I think the team should know so they don't get worried" he said "listen to your mom, ok? just make sure out of all people Barry doesn't find out" I said, he nodded and the train arrived and me and Iris got on and waved goodbye to Jackson as the train started moving.

Jackson's pov: I sped back to Caitlin's apartment to see my sister watching tv on the couch. "hey Sky" i said she just looked up at me "hi" she said. "just because mom and dad aren't dating right at this moment doesn't mean they never will" I said "I know but I can't help but wonder if they don't get together than we are never born..." she said I sat next to her. "I need to talk to dad at Star Labs, i'll be right back" I said she nodded and I sped off to see dad standing in the Cortex talking to Cisco. "hey Jackson" Cisco said I completely ignored him "well rude" Cisco said 
"dad you need to date Caitlin, like right now" I said Cisco laughed "yes! Snowbarry!" Cisco said "what? why? and what is Snowbarry?" he asked "because of Skylar" I said. 
They both looked at me confused "she is upset and worried that if you and Caitlin don't get together soon well... me and Skylar won't ever be born. Since the day we got to this time period she's been waiting but nothing. Until you guys kissed the other day and now well- she's going full Skylar" I rambled "I have so many questions. Like first what do you mean you wouldn't be born? Iris is your mom not Caitlin. second when did you and Caitlin kiss? and how was I not aware of this Snowbarry crisis? and lastly i'm happy my ship name is catching on" Cisco asked and said with a smile.
"Caitlin and I kissed a few days ago but she rejected me so I tried to move on from  it... from her but I can't" Barry said slumping down on a chair. "well that is called love and snowbarry" Cisco said "enough with Snowbarry, Cisco. We all ship it but just shh" I said

Meanwhile in Star City
Iris's pov: we arrived at Felicity's office, her not knowing we were there. "Felicity" I said she turned around and jumped up from her chair "Iris! Caitlin! what brings you two here to Starling?" she asked "just a little vacation you could say..." Caitlin said clearly not fully convinced of our trip. "where are you two staying? I have a friend who might be willing to let you spend a few days at their house" she said smiling. "I'll call him and ask" she said she walked out of the room.

Felicity's pov: "Oliver I need you to do me a favor well not a favor for me but for some friends" I said "what do you need?" he asked threw the phone "can two friends stay at your house for a few days? They are visiting and you clearly have enough room in your mansion" I said emphasizing mansion "fine, when will they stop by?" he asked "soon i'll be leaving work now and be at your house shorty" I said excited I hung up after saying good bye and went back to Iris and Caitlin who were waiting for me
