New reality

What now?

Barry's pov: I couldn't get that kiss out of my head. Did it mean she liked me? Or was it just a thank you kinda thing? 

I had no idea but I didn't have time to do anything about that...yet anyway. I sat in a chair in the med bay the rest of the morning until Joe called he needed my help at the station. I ran there and it turns out someone trashed my lab and stole evidence of an arson case CCPD asked me to work on.
"when did this happen?" I asked Joe him giving me a shrug "I don't know Barr, I came in here this morning and it was like this" he said moving some papers on my chair and sitting down.
"Captain needs that arson file today and it's not here" I said slightly panicked "you haven't even looked yet" he said "the first thing I did was look for it. it's gone Joe" I said as the Captain walked in "what's gone?" he asked suspiciously "my phone I can't find it" I said trying to cover up the fact that I lost that file.
"you mean the phone that you are holding in your hand as we speak?" he asked raising his eyebrow "oh yeah well-" I stuttered "he is having trouble finishing that case you asked for which is why he is acting nervous, right Barry?" Joe finished my sentence I just nodded.
He gave me a weird look "well i'm going to need that case file by 7 o'clock tonight so get it done" he said "yes sir I will have it completed" I said still nervous. He walked out then stopped and turned around "and clean up your lab Allen, it's a mess" he ordered.
Once he left I let out a sigh of relief, Joe laughed at my second hand embarrassing that just happened. "your phone? really Barry you couldn't have come up with something better than that?" he asked laughing still "I was panicked what did you expect?" I shrugged "what would you do I wasn't here to save your ass every time Captain asks you something" he laughed and got up. "I have to meet up with Eddie at CCN. I'll see you later at Star Labs" he said walking out "Eddie? what is he doing at Iris's work if Iris isn't even here?" I ask "I don't know I guess I'll find out" he said walking out.

Iris's pov: after Caitlin explained everything to me we decided it was best to go back to Central City. Felicity decided to come as well, we got on a train and awaited on a 3 hour train ride back. I could tell something was up with Caitlin but decided to to say anything about it since I was guessing it was Barry related.
3 hours pass and we need to get off the train "Caitlin! earth to Caitlin Snow" Felicity said waving her hand in front of Caitlin's face. "what?" she asked "we need to get off the train... we made it" she replied, Caitlin got up grabbed her suitcase and jumped off the train. I saw Cisco there waiting for us and we followed him to his car and he dropped me off at home.

Barry's pov: I was reworking on my arson case for the captain but I couldn't stop thinking about Caitlin. Suddenly there was a gust of wind and I looked up and saw Silver bullet holding Skylar and threw her against the wall. "next time don't let her go back" he said and ran off again.
I wanted to know how the hell he got loose from the cell but I was more worried about my daughter.
