Alexandra's POV
My mind was so scrambled...
I have two sets of memories.
The first, An Amnesiac Quill agent that was saved by Asimov.
The second.... Mine.
The last memory that I knew was mine was Asimov hunting me down. Before I fell unconscious I saw him.
My brother. Ashton. He helped me.
I groaned, opening my eyes.
"Easy... don't strain yourself."
A white haired girl was helping me out of bed. I blinked.
"Where am I?"
She smiled. "Ashton and Gunvolt's apartment."
My eyes widened in fear and I moved as far away from her a I could.
"G-Gunvolt? The terrorist?"
The girl frowned, tilting her head to the side, until a look of shock crossed her face.
"You're like me..." She whispered in amazement.
I rose an eyebrow. "How am I like you?"
She gave me a patient look. "I'm Eliese. I was a Sumeragi adept. So were you, I believe."
I nodded. "I'm Alexandra. Where is Ashton?"
She gave me a stern look. "Not yet. I'm going to ask you some questions."
I nodded. "Ask away."
She began. "Correct me if I'm wrong. You were one of the Sumeragi adepts?"
I almost laughed at how little she knew. "Very wrong."
"Correct me then."
I smirked. "That's not how this works. Now I get to ask a question."
She nodded. "I can do that."
"Once you are done, will you imprison me?"
Her eyes widened in suprise. "Of course not! We were hoping to get your help."
"I guess I'll answer you then. Don't freak out?"
She nodded again.
"I am Nova's second in command."
Her eyes widened in alarm, but I stopped her. "There's more."
"I still am a Sumeragi adept. I just disagree with their methods, but agree to the gole."
Eliese sighed. "This got harder..."
I continued. "You are Eliese. You have Resurrection Septima. When you use it, you Separate into two. Am I wrong?"
She gave me a suprised look. She then got up, telling me to stay here, and left the room.
I rose from the bed. I walked over to the air conditioning unit. "Call: Mouse." A mouse with glowing blue eyes walked over to me. "Follow Eliese." It nodded, running away.
I returned to the bed. "Lend me your eyes and ears."
My conciousness faded as I watched from the mouse's point of view. Eliese was talking to the terrorist. Gunvolt. I used the mouse to listen in.
"Are you sure about this?" Eliese nodded.
"Yep. She is still an adept. I don't know if we can get her to cooperate with us to find Joule."
Another man approached, cutting in to the conversation. "Getting her to help isn't the problem. It's keeping her from taking Joule when we're done. Believe me, I'd know."
