A/N
Hi again! Thanks to my 9 viewers for clicking on this story! I may not have many people here now, but it's a start! And please, don't be afraid to comment, I want to know what people think! Here's the chapter!
I turned on my commlink as I moved to get ready for my first mission, listening to Moniqua's briefing as I moved. "It appears that they are moving a lot of their materials to there sub aquatic base."
"Didn't they just build a new docking platform?" I enquired with a frown.
"Correct." Moniqua told me, "With the materials, and the new docking platform, suggest a massive armed submarine in the works..." I tuned out the rest as I looked in the mirror at the scarred face looking back. I have short black hair, shocking golden eyes, and an old scar running across the side of my face, from that old accident.
After I put on my grey Quill outfit from before, I returned to my room to get the special case underneath my bed. Inside the case was two things.
The first, an advanced breathing mask. Turned out that the same accident with my Septima, earned me a gash across my lung, now another scar, so I used the mask for long missions.
The last thing in the case was a pair of Kunais, Which are small knives, used for throwing or stabbing. They had a purple snake design on the sides. They belonged to my girlfriend, before she was taken away by Sumeragi.
I took the mask, but left the Kunais there, more of a sentimental value then an actual weapon. It wasn't a full face mask, it covered the lower side of my face. (Think bucky in winter soldier.) Finally ready, I went to the living room to wait for GV.
Gunvolt eventually came out, followed closely by Joule, who hugged GV and I before waving to us as we moved towards the door.
"Ready?" Gv questioned me. I nodded. Then we headed out.
At the entrance to the dock, I noticed that there was only a skeleton crew.
"If they're making a giant submarine, shouldn't there be more people?" GV gave a suspicious nod, and told me to keep an eye out. "Stealth or elimination?" I questioned. "Elimination." Gunvolt said, "Just to be sure."
Good. More fun for me. As I approached the first group, I crouched down, as I got behind the first man. I looked back towards Gunvolt, who was drawing an Orso rifle from his back. Aiming at the enemy nearest to him, we begun.
I snapped the neck of the man I was standing behind, as the man to his left was shot down with a shot to the neck. Eight left. Two drew shock batons, one a Topo sidarm, 4 had swords and the last was talking into a radio. One of the swordsman was shot down as the two baton wielders moved on me.
I clashed my blade with one, and kicked the other aside. Ignoring the one I kicked aside, I focused on the one immediately in front of me. I began losing the blade lock, so to counter I kicked at a knee, which forced him to kneel. I hit him on the head with my blade pommel, knocking him out.
Where was that other baton guy...
Pain flared through my senses as an electric baton was charged against my neck. I began kicking at the man wielding it, to no avail. If this kept up, I wouldn't stay awake....
A gunshot was heard as the pain abruptly disappeared.
I stumbled backwards on to the ground and didn't move for a moment. When my vision cleared, I saw Gunvolt standing over me, patiently holding out a hand so he could help me. I gripped his hand and stood up. "You ok?" GV asked me, concern in his eyes.
"That sucked, but I'll be okay." I reassured with a smile.
"Alright, we'll continue, but if you start hurting again, you tell me!" He said sternly.
