Beladim's POV
Wow, this guy is reckless.
Just jumping into the middle, disrupting everything. Too bad. I wanted to watch the fight. Well, at least he's distracted.
On to important business. I closed my eyes and looked through my Septima at the people here. What I saw suprised me.
Asimov and Gunvolt's Septima. Asimov was the technical strongest, but Gunvolt can match him if his emotions are crazy enough. Heh. Reminds me of my younger days.
I also scanned Juggernaut before he left. As expected, he's just a cocktail of Septima. Nothing new there.
The guy that redirected Gunvolt's anger is basically a black dot Septima wise.
The thoughtful looking red haired guy had a pink color to his Septima, Interesting. Better keep an eye on him.
Scanning done, I hopped down to Gunvolt, and almost immediately had multiple weapons pointed at me. Which is fair. I did just appear from the enemy base. Gunvolt spoke on my behalf.
"Guns down people, he's not an enemy."
Red haired guy obeyed immediately, but Asimov needed a little prodding. The guy with dark Septima actually fired at me. Hell.
Gunvolt's POV
Damn it, Zander! My anger turned to surprise as a shield appeared around him, blocking the shot. Beladim spoke.
"You know, you aren't making a good impression."
Zander lunged at the guy, but I held him back. He resisted.
"Chandler stop! He's one of them!"
I sighed. "You helped me, so I really don't want to knock you out, but I will."
Asimov spoke up, calm as always. "Who is them?"
Suddenly Beladim was an inch away from Zander, sneering at him. "You're a joke. You think you're strong just because your dad is Ardor. You are nothing."
Zander roared right back. "Release me and I'll show you how strong I am, lab rat!"
I gave Beladim a pointed look. "Not really convincing them you're on my side."
Beladim nodded, stepping back. "You're right. Forgive me for that."
Asimov hummed, then turned to Beladim. "So what are your plans?"
Beladim turned to him. "As long as he agrees, Gunvolt and I will look for Lumen."
I stepped forward. "Don't think I was kidding. We're done, Asimov." I turned to Beladim, "And yes, I'll go with you."
Beladim walked away, I following him, as we left that cursed fortress. Beladim turned to me.
"It's not really a finding thing. Finding her isn't that hard."
Still annoyed, I responded a bit more rude then intended. "So why am I here?"
Beladim only smiled. "You're here so I don't have to use my Septima. And don't tell me you don't want to see her, too."
I frowned. "Still don't see why you're so secretive."
Beladim nodded. "Can I ask a question?"
I nodded only slightly hesitantly. "When Mytyl stole the Septima back, did Lumen keep any of it?"
I glared. "It was Mytyl's to begin with. She didn't steal anything."
Beladim just laughed, which annoyed me further. He spoke.
