A few months later

The school year ended about 2 weeks ago and I haven't seen Jahseh or anyone else since then.

I was eating dinner when Jahseh called me.
"Hello" I said
I put him on speaker
"Whatchu doin?" He asked sounding sad
"What's wrong?" I questioned
"Are you busy? I don't wanna bother you if you are" he says
Then my dad walked in the house and grabbed some alcohol for his friends because my parents had company again.
"No I'm not....but you know I'm always gonna make time for you" I said
My dads head snapped in my direction.
"And I'll always make time for you" he said
"So what's wrong?" I questioned
Then my dad walked back in the garage
He sighed
"I just miss you" he admitted
"Jahseh I miss you too.....I really wanna meet up somewhere" I said
"I really do too....but-nevermind" he said
"Tell me" I said
He sighed again
"I mean I love the group and everything. I really do but....I just wanna hang out with YOU. No one else. Just the two of us....I really wanna have a day where it's just me and you." He admitted
"I want to too.....but why do you wanna have a day with me specifically?" I said
"Why do you wanna hang out with me specifically" he reciprocated the question
"I can feel a special connection that we have" I say
"You feel it too?" He questioned surprised
"You feel it?" I asked
"Hell yeah" we laughed
"And I guess I'm just attached to you in a way" he says
"Do you wanna plan something?" I say
Then both of my parents walked in with a few of their friends
"I do.....I really do" he says
"Are you free tomorrow?" He questioned
My dad's head snapped in my direction
"Yeah" I said
"What do you wanna do?" He asks
"I don't know.....as long as I'm with you it's fine" I say
Then they all walked back in the garage
"Awwww I love you too Y/n" he cheesed making me laugh
"Ummm.....we could go just hang out and then once it hits like 6:00 we could go see a movie" he said
"Okay" I agreed
"I'll come pick you up and 4:00 tomorrow" he said
"Am?" I questioned rhetorically
"No you fuckin idiot" he laughed
"Your laugh is so cute" I say
"Shut up pussy" he said
I laughed again
"Now who's the one with the cute laugh?" He said
"You" I said in a 'duh' tone
"Wrong answer" he said
"Well it's not mine" I said
"Yes the fuck it is" he said

I went up to my room and got comfortable in my bed. Jahseh and I were quiet on the phone until he broke the silence.
"I love you" he says sadly
"I love you too Seh" I said sincerely
"I miss you" he said
"I miss you more" I said
"It may be weird but I love hearing you say how much you miss me" he said
"Why?" I questioned
"I don't know" he said
"You better start callin me daily" he said sadly
"I will" I said
"Promise?" He said
"I promise" I say
"Pinky promise?" He asked
"Yes. Pinky promise" I said
"I just want it to be tomorrow already" he said
"Me too" I said
"I can't wait to see you....I NEED to see you" he said
"I kinda forgot what you look like....just kidding" I said
He laughed

I yawned
"Babygirl" Jahseh said on the other line
"Hm" I hummed
"You tryna fall asleep of the phone again?" He questioned
"Are you?" I asked
"I asked you first" he said
"Yeah. If you want to" I said

We were talking until the line got quiet again and I heard light snores coming form the other end.
I smiled to myself and fell asleep
