He looked up at me.
He smiled but it was like a sad smile.
"You okay?" I asked
"Yeah" he said
"Tired?" I questioned
He nodded his head and looked down.
"Do you sleep with the lights on?" I questioned
He shook his head.
I got up and turned all his lights off.
I went back to where he was and put us back in the same position we were in earlier only instead of caressing his hand I softly rubbed his back so he would fall asleep.
After a few minutes I heard his light snores.
I continued doing it for a few minutes longer until I was sure he was asleep.
I layed him back in his bed and quietly left his room.
I went downstairs and started conversing with his mom. His mom was literally my friend. I never felt awkward around her.

"You stayin the night baby?" She asked
"Yeah. Only if you want me to" I said
"I would love for you too and Jahseh would love that too" she says
"I'm worried about him" I said
"Why's that baby?" She questioned
"I just don't want him to do anything to harm himself and because I love him I hate seeing him like this" I said
"I hate seeing him like this too" she agreed
"But I don't what you're doing to him but I just want to say thank you" she said
"For what?" I questioned
"You're doing something to him....you have had an effect on him. He used to be worse than this until he met you. You made it better. He really loves you and can't stop talking about you" she said
"Really?" I asked
She nodded her head
"He says that you hurt him the way you talk about yourself because he thinks your so beautiful." He said
"Awww he's so cute" I said
"Very" she said

I was being waken up by Jahseh.
"Babygirl" he said in a raspy voice
I fluttered my eyes open.
"Why you on the couch?" He questioned
"I just fell asleep" I said
"Come get in my bed" he said
"You don't think that'll be weird?" I questioned
He nodded his head.
We went up to his room.
"I'm gonna go to the store" he said
"Okay" I said
I layed in his bed and he pulled the covers up on me and went in his closet.
It was around 7:00am.
I fell asleep.

Later that day Jahseh and I went out to eat.

We were done eating and were leaving. We went outside but Jahseh went back in for Sind reason.
A guy walked up to me and we were making conversation.
Then he left and Jahseh walked out, grabbed my hand and dragged me to the car.
He opened the door and I got in. He walked to the other side and got in.
He did a sigh of anger and he looked at me.
"Why were you talking to him?" He questioned
"He just came up to me and we were having a conversation" I said
"That doesn't answer my question.....why were you talking to him?" He said
"Because he was talking to me and I didn't wanna be rude" I said
"You know how I feel about that" he said
"It was a simple conversation" I rolled my eyes
"And you could've simply told him to fuck off" he said angrily
"The nigga looked like he wanted you" he added
"So what if he did. Why do you even care?" I spat
He just smacked his lips and started the car. I was pissed at how over exaggerative he was being.
I just looked out the window and my leg was bouncing.

I felt something on my thigh. I looked to see Jahseh's hand. Butterflies started kicking in.
"I'm sorry. I guess I was being dramatic about it" he apologizes
"It's fine" I say
"I really am sorry. From the bottom of my heart" he said as he grabbed my hand and kissed it.
"I accept your apology" I said

We made it back to his house and I had to leave.
"Bye Jahseh bye mama Cleo" I said
Jahseh came up a hugged me. I hugged back.
Then Cleo kissed me on my cheek.
"Call me" he says
I nod my head and left.
