Later that day I got off the phone with Jahseh
My dad was drunk AGAIN
He was yelling at me about how I hang out with too many niggas and he was pissing me off
I stood up to him which made him mad
He aggressively pushed me out of his way causing me to fall and hit me neck on the corner of a chair.
My mom started yelling at him.
I ran to my room in pain.

Later that night my mom came to my room to check on me.

The next morning

I got up and got ready for school
Today we all walked to the bus stop separately.
I sat next to Jahseh on the bench.
We had a lot of time before the bus came.
"Aye we gonna go to Stoke's for some goldfish" Jarad said
They all walked to Stokeley's house except Jahseh and I.
We were sitting on the bench conversing.
Our conversation came to an end and I was scrolling through my phone while Jahseh was deep in his thoughts.
I looked at him because he was really quiet.
It looked like he was looking at my neck.
"What happened?" He questioned
"What do you mean?" I asked
"You have a bruise on your neck" he said as he caresses the side of my neck
"Nothing serious" I shrugged my shoulders
"But what happened" he repeated
"I......fell" I said
He grabbed my chin and turned my head
"Yo little ass better tell me what happened" he said sternly
Times like this are where he intimidates me
"Nothing" I said
"Y/n I'm not fuckin playing with you" he said getting angry
"I'm serious I fell" I said
"More happened" he said
"I got pushed and I fell" I said truthfully
He got closer to me
"By who?" He questioned calmly yet intimidatingly
"M-my dad" I admitted
"Mhm....I fuckin knew it" he mumbled
I sighed and sat back as my leg bounced
He put his hand on my thigh
"It's okay" he said rubbing his hand up and down my leg
My leg started bouncing faster
"Mama....it's okay" Jahseh said pulling me in for a hug
He pulled away and I was calmed down
He put his arm around me and kissed my cheek
I blushed

The rest of them started coming back Jahseh stood up and started talking to them
I knew he told them about my bruise because they all looked so serious and I heard Stokeley say "her dad?" so I knew.
Then I heard Jahseh's voice
"And I think that's why sometimes she be sayin some psychotic is because she has to deal with her alcoholic dad and she's always bottling up her emotions....that shit can make you go crazy" he said
I knew he was right
"Yeah. I think she might have trust issues" Bris said
"And I don't think bottling up your emotions is good for your mental health" Stokeley said
"I knew she wasn't okay" Stokeley added
"So we all need to try our best to get her to tell us her feelings, keep her protected and happy as possible" Jahseh said
They all agreed
I felt so happy about how much they cared about me
