It was 6:00pm
I was eating a snack while my parents
cooked dinner together.
I get a call from Jahseh.
I answered it
"Hello" I said
"Hey baby" Jahseh's mom answered
"Hey what's up" I say
I put her on speaker because I was doing something in the kitchen.
"My baby needs you right now" she says
My parents' heads snapped in my direction
"Is he okay?" I asked
"Yeah but please come over" she begged
I looked at my MOM for reassurance
She nodded her head
"Yeah I will" I say
"Thanks you so much baby....he keeps saying he wants you" she said
"He wants me?" I questioned while putting shoes on
My parents were watching me every move
My mom looked worried and my dad looked pissed that I was going over there again.
"Yeah he's crying and he keeps telling me 'I just want Y/n right now'" she said
"I'm on my way" I say
"Is she coming?" I heard Jahseh cry
It broke my heart
"Yeah. She's coming baby" she says
"I love you my love" she says
"I love you too" I said and she hung up
I looked at my dad
"Do I have to walk or are you gonna take me?" I asked him
"I ain't takin you to that nigga's house" he said
"Why can't you just fuckin take her and stop being so stubborn. You can clearly tell that poor baby is in pain. He needs her" my mom spat
I just sighed angrily
"I'll just walk" I said
"No. I don't want you waking at night. I'll take you" my mom said
We left the house and she drove me to Jahseh's.
"Bye baby.....I'm gonna the you stay the night. I'm pretty sure he needs you for more than a few hours" she said
"But what about daddy" I said
"He's just gonna have to understand" she said
"Okay I love you" I said
"I love you too baby" she says
I got out the car and she drove off
I knocked on the door.
The door opened immediately revealing his mom.
She pulled me in for a hug and kissed my cheek.
"He's in his room" she says
"Okay thank you" I said
She walked to the kitchen and I assumed she was cooking.
I walked up to his room and knocked on the door.
"Mom I just want Y/n right now" he cried
"It's me Jahseh" I said
The door opened revealing a teary eyed Jahseh.
I immediately hugged him and he hugged back.
I felt something drop on my foot. I looked down and it was BLOOD.
"What the hell" I said
"What?" He said
I looked at my foot and he followed my gaze then looked at me with fear.
I looked at his sleeve and it was covered in blood.
It broke my heart.
I lifted it up and it revealed his bloody wrists.
"Jahseh. Why?" I let a tear fall
"It just got really bad" he cried
"Sit down" I said
He sat down on his bed
"Take that hoodie off" I said walking to the bathroom.
He took it off and I came out with bandaids, rubbing alcohol and tissue.
I didn't even care that he was shirtless.
I sat next to him.
He knew what it was for so he gave me his arm.
I got some of the tissue and wiped off the excess blood.
Then I got some more tissue and put some rubbing alcohol on it. I dabbed it on his cuts and he flinched at the pain.
There were three cuts.
I was silently crying at the sight of this.
I put three bandaids for each of the cuts.
One of my tears fell on his arm.
He lifted my face by my chin and made me look at him.
"Please don't cry.....I'm sorry" he said wiping my tears
"I don't understand why you would do this" I cried
"You could've just called me and I would've calmed you down" I said
"I'm sorry I wasn't thinking straight" he apologizes
I flushed all the used tissue down the toilet and went back and sat on his bed.
I pulled him in for a hug and put his forehead in the crook of my neck.
His breathing was heavy and I could tell he was still angry because his fist was clenched.
I grabbed his hand which made him release his balled up fist. I held his hand and caresses it softly.
I could feel his body shutting down.
