Dear diary,
So far, the day has gone by smoothly. Well, considering that the day has just started.
Scratching off Jessica and her minions, I would say that today is just like any other school day.
I am on the brink of dozing off if it weren't for writing my thoughts down. It's English now.
Mr Alistair has been droning on about how he had spent his holiday recently in the Bahamas.
I mean, come on! Shouldn't he be teaching instead of giving us an overview of his holiday? Judging by everybody's faces, I would say that they agree too.
Alright, just a minute more to go!
"Ring!"
It is bad enough that I don't have Amaryllis for English, but listening to Mr Alistair? No, just no.
I took my backpack and headed straight to my locker.
Amaryllis was already waiting at my locker.
"Hey, you ready to go?" chirped Amaryllis.
Thankfully, we have lessons together for the rest of the day.
Hey, you know that feeling when time passes ever so swiftly when you are with your best friend? Well, that is exactly how I feel.
It's lunch time now and we are currently walking towards the gazebo near the school's garden.
A gazebo? I know right! Rosethorn High is so cool just like that.
Ever since we found it, Amaryllis and I had proclaimed it as our spot.
From the gazebo, there lies a beautiful pond with graceful swans atop crystalline waters. Lily pads are scattered all over, leaving ripples behind their trail.
Rose bushes line the pathway to the gazebo, enchanting to the eyes might I add.
It was as if it was something straight out from a fairytale.
"Psst! He just walked past!" Amaryllis nudged whilst giving me a suggestive wink.
I'm sure most of you are curious to who this said person is.
This is where Ryder comes in. He is neither popular nor is he a wallflower. He is just, well, Ryder.
Ever since I laid my eyes on him during freshman year, I have never looked at any other guy the same.
Flashback
Wow. It's the first day of a new year.
I can't believe that such a beautiful school exists! Just look at that massive structure. It looks ancient but with an ethereal touch to it.
Amaryllis was chatting about how nervous she is whilst I was practically zoning out.
And there he stood, hands in his pockets. He is not supermodel handsome or unattractive. He does not stand out.
But what really captured my attention was his eyes.
My God, they look so green from afar. I wonder what they look like from up close and-
"Sera. Sera? SERA!" pink coloured nails snapped me out of my reverie.
"Y...yeah? What were you saying again?"
"I was saying that we should get our schedules but I see that you're distracted by something. Or shall I say someone," said Amaryllis with a smirk.
"N...no. I wasn't!"
"Say all you want Sera," teased Amaryllis with a knowing smile.
End of flashback
"Aww, Sera is blushing. How cute!" gushed Amaryllis.
"Shut up Amaryllis!" my cheeks were warm whilst I took a bite out of my sandwich.
The food sold in the cafeteria are not like other schools where they are inedible. In fact, they are really delicious. But I decided that homemade meals are the best.
And thank God I wasn't drooling at the sight of him.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
How cute is Sera? I definitely ship them! *hint*
What do you think their ship name should be? What about Ryna or Ryph? I really suck at this! Someone save me!
