Chapter 2: High School

In August, the first day of High School, my first period was Art. I had this class with Jennifer. Then I had Biology with Chase. The third period was gym with both of them. Then I had advanced Algebra with Erik, one of mike and Jessica's friends. In this class, Edward Cullen was there. It was the first time I saw him. He was actually gorgeous, like Jeniffer said last year. But he felt a little loner.

In lunch time, that's when I saw his brothers and sisters. They were more than beautiful. All pale, with golden eyes.

After lunch I had history and literature.

My dad went with me to Seattle for me to catch a plane to Phoenix, because it was my mom and Phil's wedding.

When the plane arrived, my sister, mom and Phil were waiting for me. My mom gave me a huge hug, like my sister.

"How's your life as an only child?" I asked bella, just to be funny.

"Haha not bad, no carpools, no worries, you don't annoy me anymore... actually perfect!" She laughed.

"Ahah real funny"

"And in forks, how is your boy mystery? " I didn't told her yet that I was really good friends with Seth and the people of La Push, but I knew that my dad would be telling stuff to my mom...

"He is fine. Not your business"

"Oh" she hit me with her hand in my head, like sisters do.

The wedding was perfect and because of it I could spend Bella's birthday with her. We spend some time together in a lake near Phoenix.

But I needed to go to Forks again. To go to school.

It was homecoming season. Some of the boys with my age asked me to go to Homecoming dance. But I said no. I couldn't. My head was just thinking about Seth and how I miss him because I was only seeing him on the weekends.

So the weekend before the homecoming dance I asked Seth to go with me. He except it even though I knew that he would be a bit uncomfortable because it wasn't his school.

I had dinner that night in he's home.

" hey Madi, the Cullens are in your school right?" His father, Harry, said.

"Mmmm, yes, why?" I asked

" nothing just be careful"

"Okay"

After dinner, my dad was picking me up in Seth's house, but before Seth talked to me.

" what was about your father? Is something wrong?" I asked Seth.

" oh just some old myths that my father believes. Ignore him when he starts talking like that. "

" oh what myths?" I asked, curiously.

" just some tribal myths, kind of secrets, but we all don't believe it"

" can't you tell me? Please." I said, with kinda of puppy eyes.

" it's about werewolves and vampires"

" so which one is you?"

"Ahahahhaha werewolves of course!"

" so putting the Cullens here, they are the vampires?" I said laughing.

" I think, kind of. I know it's silly" he started laughing to. " but my father really believes it, I don't know why"

Then I started hearing a car getting close. it was my dad.

" well my dad arrived I need to go."

" OK bye oh and thanks for the invite"

"You're welcome! bye" I entered my dad's patrol car.

"Invite?" My dad asked.

"I invited him to homecoming dance" I answered.

" oh good for you! none of your school friends wanted to go with you?" He asked, then he started driving.

" they asked but I don't know, I just really wanted to go with Seth."

"Mmmmm okay" you laughed.

" stop it." I said while hitting him on the shoulder and laughing.

The dance was awesome. Seth met my friends and they really liked him.

And I really liked him.

But I didn't have the courage to say it to him. I just didn't want our friendship to end, if something went bad.

On Christmas dad received an awesome call from Bella. She will be moving here to Forks for the next year and a half. She said she wanted to mom to go with Phil because he is a baseball player and travels a lot. And Bella wanted mom to travel with him.

She will arrive in the middle of January, right before my 15th anniversary.
