Chapter 7: Realizing Love

The next day, Bella had a school trip somewhere in a compost center. But I had a normal day. Already in the school parking lot, Bella was staring at Edward.

"Bella, a bit obvious no?" I said.

"What?" She glanced at me.

"You were staring at Edward."

"No I wasn't."

"Yes you were. Oh! I didn't forgot the talk we should had yesterday." She sent me an annoyed look.

I saw Mike walking towards us.

"Hey Swans!" He said.

"Mmmm much funny." I said. "Well, I have to go class. Bye. Good field trip." I kissed Bella in her check and went to my class.

At lunch time, today with just Jennifer and Chase, Bella sent me a message.

if someone asks, in the weekend of the prom I'll be in Jacksonville.

Did you got invited to prom?

Later after school at home.

She didn't responded again.

After my last period, Bella was already at the parking lot, waiting for me near her trunk. I went to the passenger side and opened the door to get in.

"Soooo, tell me" I said when we were already getting off of school grounds.

"I told you. At home."

"Oh come on! No one here is gonna listen to us! At home, dad can listen! Please!"

"Okay. So today Edward said that we shouldn't be friends. That's it."

"What? Wait? You are missing stuff."

"No I'm not!"

"Yes you do. 1. What was about Edward and you yesterday? 2. Who asked to prom and why you are not going with them? And 3. Why Edward told you you shouldn't be friends with him? "

"Okay that's a lot. The last one it's new. It wasn't missing. "

"Just answer it! Come on Bella! I'm super curious! "

"Okay okay. 1. I was just thanking him from saving me. 2. Mike, because I don't dance and I said to ask Jessica to go with him, because I know Jessica really wasn't to. And 3. Don't know and don't wanna know. Just forget about him."

"You don't wanna know why he doesn't wanna be  your friend?"

"No"

"Okay"

We stayed in silence for a few moments.

"Oh! On your birthday. What do you wanna do?"

"I don't know. It's on a Saturday. But I'm not really into celebrate this year. I think you are giving me your hating for birthday vibes."

"Hey!" I laughed.

"Probably just going to say to Seth to go on a walk at the beach."

"Yeah yeah, you call it getting my vibes. You want to spend time with your boyfriend."

"Bella! No! Just stop it! He's not my boyfriend! But kinda. He just makes me feel in place. Like if I belong somewhere."

"Yeah, with him. Why don't you make a move? I can see he is into you too."
