Chapter 1: Middle school

I started school. I found a group of friends really nice.
Charlotte, light brown hair, started being my best friend. Lucas, her twin brother. Jennifer Stanley, with a ginger like hair. And Chase Newton, a blond haired boy with blue eyes. Every one in school liked him. And kinda liked us.

We were inseparable.

The school year ended.

In this year, my weekends were spent or studying or with Seth with his friends. I was really enjoying this new life. Good grades, good friends.

My first two weeks of june was spent with my mother and Bella in Phoenix. My mother had a new boyfriend. Phil. She really looked happy with him.

Then, me and Bella went to California to spend 2 weeks with my dad on the beach. 

I spent the rest of the summer with Seth in La Push and something's with my school friends. It was so much fun going to the beach with Seth. We spent so much time together. Sometimes his friends would make fun of him because he was spending so much time with me. But I didn't care. I liked Seth.

At the end of July my best friend, Charlotte, said that her, Lucas and her family would go to Seattle, because their father got a good job there. I was sad, but life goes on.

Now it was me, Jennifer and Chase.

On the 2nd day of school, Jennifer run to me.

"My sister said there are a new family in town. Some of the kids are in the same year as her. There are 3 in her year and 2 in Junior year. One of them is gorgeous!"

"But you saw them?"

"No... but she told me. One is single and The other four form 2 couples. At least it appeared like that. They were holding hands all the time!"

"Mmmm how can that be if they are siblings?" I said, kinda grossed out.

"Oh! They are adopted, so I think it's okay? Weird but maybe okay?" She said, and I laughed hugging her. Then Chase arrived.

"Your sister told you about the Cullens?" His brother, Mike Newton, is at the same year as her sister, Jessica Stanley, and they are friends, like Chase and Jennifer, so of course he would know the same things as her.

They talked all day about the new arrival at the town. Actually, the school talked. And not one of the news arrivals were there. But I got the info that the kids were the adoptive or foster kids of the new doctor in town, Dr. Cullen.

My father went to pick me up at school.

"Hey dad. How was work?" I asked when I entered the patrol car.

"It was alright. Hey, did someone said anything about some new kids..." he said

"Oh. Dr. Cullen's kids? All school talked about them today. It was horrible. And none of them are in middle school! " I said

"Yes, wow. News drive fast."

"Yes."

"I just wish they don't get trouble to this town"

"Hahahahaha dad please." I laughed.

When I got home, I went strait to the home phone. I called Seth.

"Hey! It's Madi! How are you?"

"Fine! Thanks!"

"I was thinking if this weekend you would want spend sometime with me? It can be in your house."

" mmmm I don't know"

"Oh" I said with a sad voice, he always said yes. Why was he now being difficult? He didn't like me anymore?

"Wait, nothing like that. My sister's boyfriend, Sam. He's missing. If we don't find him by this weekend we are going to see if we can find him in the forest"

"Oh! Why is he missing?"

"Don't know, he just did."

"Did someone called my dad? He can help."

"We were going to talk with him tomorrow, he is been gone since yesterday afternoon. No one knows we're he is so probably he is in the forest"

"Mmmm okay, but I'll go on the weekend helping you search for him. Probably my dad will go too"

"Okay Madi! Until then!"

"Bye!"

And we hang up.

My dad was in front of the TV relaxing, watching some game.

"Hey dad. Seth told me Sam Uley is missing. Since yesterday. In the reservation they thing he is in the forest. Leah doesn't know anything about him."

" oh what? I'll call Harry to know more info. Thanks Madi." He said. He kissed my forehead and then I went to my room with baby blue walls to make my homework.

That weekend me and my dad went to La Push to try to find Sam. I met more people from there, like Emily, Seth's cousin. We didn't found him anywhere.

Me and my dad, had dinner in Seth's house. It was really pleasant. Sue, Seth's mom made some grilled fish that Harry had caught last weekend. Before Sam went missing.

Next weekend he appeared. But Seth told me he was strange. One week later, Sam broke up with Leah. Seth said she was really bad...

••• 9 moths later •••

Middle school was over! Finally! I'm really excited to go to high school!

And for summer!

My mom is engaged to Phil. They will be marrying in September. So I will miss one week of school because of it.

June I spend it with my mom and Bella in Phoenix like last year, and with my dad and Bella in California like last year.

Then I went to Forks and since Jennifer and Chase started kinda of dating, I was going to spent so much time in La Push. Charlie and Harry said I could sleep there for some days to be easier for them. But, of course, I would sleep in Leah's room.

Me and Seth, and sometimes his friends to, went to the beach. Some of them would cliff jumping from crazy heights and another from small heights. I would watch them from the beach with some other girls of the reservation.

I could see that Emily and Sam were dating now. Seth told me that after Sam and Leah had broken up, Sam arrayed spending a lot of time with Emily, and that was hurting Leah really bad, because Leah and Emily were best friends. And in the winter, Emily was attacked by a bear, so now she has some really bad scars in her face. But she stayed beautiful.

This summer I started having more deep feelings with Seth. But I didn't wanted to destroy our friendship so I didn't said anything. I tried to forget about it, but I couldn't.
