Chapter 5: Missing

I woke up before Bella. it was almost 6am. I went to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast. I didn't know what to have, so I just grab a yogurt and an apple. Then I heard dad getting down the stairs.

" hey girl! Up so soon?" He said

"Yeah I fell asleep last night a bit early in Bella's bed"

"Yeah I notice it"

He ate some cereal.

Then I went upstairs to prepare myself to a new school day. Bella woke up when I was taking a shower. when I got out of the shower, I could see, she was a bit strange. she started preparing herself to school and we heard dad saying goodbye to us from downstairs.

When we got ready we got, inside of the truck to go to school. she was really silence today, but today I wasn't really having it for making questions.

When we arrived at school I knew that she was looking for something. I didn't know what, but she looked really weird.

Two beautiful convertibles cars, one was red and the other, a grey Jeep, got inside the school parking lot. Inside of the red one was Rosalie and Alice and on the Jeep there was Emmett in Jasper. Bella stared at the two cars. No signs of Edward.

I saw our group of friends and went to them. Tyler threw a gummy at Bella to come to chill with us, but she didn't come. she was reading some kind of book. After a while we all went to our classes.

After some days Bella started looking really strange at lunchtime. when we arrived at the cafeteria, she always was looking at the Cullen's table. Edward wasn't there. actually he is been missing classes since Bella arrived. At home, I was always asking her the same questions. What was wrong with her, if she knew what was wrong with Edward (since he's been missing classes since the day she arrived) and what happen it in biology class. She always said the same thing: "I don't know! Just shut up about it."

It was Saturday afternoon, Bella promised me taking me to La Push for me to spend some time with Seth, if I didn't ask always the same questions. She started changing and press the gas.

" so you were looking strange because you wanted to talk to Edward? after your first day? and your strange because he wasn't there?" I asked.

" Madi, I said I would take you to La Push if you stopped asking me questions."

"Well, you said to stop asking the same questions. those were not the same questions I asked you this week"

" you're funny you know" she said, sarcastically. " I wanted to confront him he acted really weird in biology class and in the cafeteria he was just staring at me"

" yeah I know, it made me uncomfortable too"

" but he never showed up and I really don't see if he's going to someday. "

"Why are you saying that? he has school. he's a kid, like us. he has parents, and siblings, he's still under age too."

" in the front office he was trying to switch classes biology for something. But everything was full."

"Oh. but I think he will show up! probably he's just sick or something."

"Yeah probably"

We were arrive at Seth's house. He was already at the door.

"You are going to stay? Visit Jacob?" I asked my sister.

"No, I want to read some books at home. At what time should I pick you up?"
