Chapter 6: The phenomenon

Today I woke up and I went to my window. There was frozen puddles in the ground. But still raining. I got ready and ate breakfast. My father and Bella's trunk weren't in the driveway. When me and Bella were getting out of the house dad arrived with Bella's truck. I could see in her eyes that she was hating this weather.

She fell in a frozen puddle right away. We went to help her.

"You all Right?" We asked Bella.

"yeah, I'm good." We helped her getting up. "Ice doesn't really help being the uncoordinated." I laughed.

" yeah that's why I had some new tires put on the trunk. Hold ones were getting pretty bald." Dad said. He said he would be a little late for dinner because he needed to go to Mason County. A security guard in Grisham Mill got killed by some kind of animal.

"Animal?" Bella said.

" you're not in Phoenix any more Bells" dad said "anyway, I figured I'd lend a hand"

"Be careful" we said.

"Always am" dad said. I went to him and kissed his cheek.

"Bye dad."

"And thanks for the tires" Bella said.

"Yeah. Bye girls"

It was pouring rain when we got school. I could know that Bella was hating this day. She hated rain.

After my history class, in the hallways I could see Bella talking to someone. Edward. He looked normal. I think. When they arrived at her locker, moments later they ended their conversation. He passed throw me like if he was in a rush.

I went to her right away.

" are you Okay?" I asked

"Yes. Thanks. Why?"

"How was the talk?" She was carrying a golden onion. Probably some biology thing.

"Normal, I think. He asked me about the weather. Why I moved here. He was a bit strange. Did you noticed that his eyes change color?"

"Mmmm no. They really never talked to anyone but themselves, or you, so I think we never locked really well to any of theirs eyes. At least me. I only have one class with the Cullens and it's algebra so."

"Oh okay."

Bella went to her gym class and me to my literature class. I had a presentation today so probably Bella would have to wait for me in the parking lot.

After class, I was almost in the parking lot and I could see the trunk with Bella by her side. In the same spot that she putt it this morning.

Then I saw Tyler's van slide towards Bella and the trunk. The van must have run wild due of the ice.

"Bella!" I screamed.

Then I just saw something stop the van. Something between Bella's truck and Tyler's van. I couldn't see what it was. For a moment I stayed in shock. Then I started running towards the accident.

"Bella!" I said again.

It was starting to gather a group of people where the accident happened. I ran to her.

"Call 911!" Some kid said.

"I already called!" Another one said.

I arrived at the scene. I pushed someone of my front.

"Bella? Are you all right?" I said. Me, mike and Angela helped her getting up.

"Bella? I'm so sorry! I panicked!" Tyler said.
