Hi guys!

Well, I know we'd ALL love another Middle-earth movie now that both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies are complete, but that, unfortunately, is not possible.

Yet.

I'm going to go straight to the point: the Tolkien Estate won't allow it. Why?

Well, before Tokien died he sold the rights of both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. The Silmarillion and other awesome Middle-earth books like the Unfinished Tales were published by Christopher Tolkien (his son) after his death, so therefore the Tokien family still own the rights to those books.

And, believe it or not, the Tolkien family don't like the movies!

Whaaaaaat?

So unless the Tolkien Estate decides to sell the rights to The Silmarillion, there will be no more Middle-earth movies.

I know, I know, it's sad. *pats you on the back* But as devastating as that is, what shocks me the most is that a lot of people are saying that the fandom has come to an end! Hold up! No, no, no! *waves finger in your face* NO. WE WILL SURVIVE! But you know what? I'm gonna save that topic for tomorrow. ;)
