Chapter 13. Found you.

Paige's POV

When the door opened, I dropped my things and ran into his arms.

"Oh my gosh! I never thought I would see you agin!" Carl said and kissed me on the head.

" I'm sorry!" Was all I could say. He pulled away and looked at me. He kissed me on the lips and I didn't reject. I missed his kisses. His lips were still warm and sweet like always. Some one cleared their throat and we pulled away. I looked at Rick and he was looking at lack.

" Oh yeah. Laci this is Rick and Carl. Carl's my boyfriend. Guys this is laci. We found her in a cabin in the woods, and she's going to be staying with us. " Rick began to talk to laci. Carl pulled me in the house and upstairs. We walked into a teenage boys room and he shut the door.

"Now where were we." He said and put his hand on my cheek.

"Here" I said and placed my lips on his. He lead me to the bed and now he was hovering over me with our lips still connected. He flipped us over and now I was straddling him. I pulled away and laid my head on his chest.

"Carl. Do you ever see a better future?" I asked and he started playing with my hair.

"Yeah I do. I see someone finding a cure. Us getting married, and having kids of our own. Paige, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you." He said and I looked up at him.

"I love you too". I said and gave him a little kiss.

We walked downstairs and Michonne was talking to Rick.

" Hey you guys want to go on a run with me? She asked us and we nodded. We walked out the door and began walking down the street.

" Carl did you see Sofia, Sam or Franky get out?" I asked and he nodded.

"I saw them get on the bus" he said and I felt relieved. We walked into a house and Carl started talking to Michonne about her life before all of this. Laci walked up to me and smiled.

" Your boyfriend's cute. She said and I looked at her.

" Hey hands off. He's mine." I said and she held her hands up in surrender.

" Hey I'm done with dating. When this started I thought to myself 'in a world like this I don't have time for dating. It's all about survival now'" she said and walked away. I think we're going to become great friends.

When we were done with that house we decided to head back. Carl grabbed my hand and we kept walking. We came close to the house but only to see Rick running towards us telling us to run. We did as told. Now where are we going to stay?
