Chapter 14. Train tracks.

Paige's POV

After yesterday we've been walking. We found these train tracks and we have been following them.

Something cought my eye. I ran up to a sign. "Sanctuary for all, community for all, those who arrive, survive, Terminus." I read out loud. I looked over at Rick.

"So? Are we gonna go?" I asked and I sighed.

" What else are gonna do." He said and I smiled.

We started walking again, and I grabbed Carl's hand.

"Do you think the others will be there? Glenn, Maggie, Beth, Lizzy, Mika- OH MY GOSH! I was supposed to take Lizzy and Mika in as my own! How do I do that if I don't even know where they are?" I cried. Carl wrapped me in his arms.

"It's ok. We'll find them." He said and I nodded. I whipped the tears away and kept walking. We came up to another sign but there was a piece of paper taped to it.

"Glenn, come to Terminus! Maggie" I looked over at Carl and hugged him.

"We're going to find everyone." I said to myself and Carl wrapped his arm around my waist.

"It's getting late. We can set camp over here." Rick said while pointing to a spot by the tracks. I walked over to a tree and kicked some of the rocks away. I set my bag down and sat against the tree. Laci laid down a few feet away and Carl came and sat next to me.

"Do you think that's place is safe?" I asked.

"No place is safe. You have to make it safe." After that I laid my head on if shoulder and fell asleep.

Carl's POV

I woke up and everyone else was up. I walked over to Paige and she kissed me.

" Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked and she set her water bottle down.

" Cause you need your sleep. And you looked cute." She giggled and I kissed her on the cheek and walked over to my dad.

"So when are we going to leave?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I was thinking. The pond over there might have fish in it. Why don't we camp out here one more night. We can make a fire, catch some fish. just like how we used to go camping." He said and patted my back. I nodded and went to find a stick.

Me and my dad used to go camping every other weekend and he thought me how to Mack my own fishing poles. When I could and stick I sat down on a log. Paige came and sat by me and smiled.
( time skip)

"Mmm" that was everyone's reaction to the fish Laci and Paige cooked. We caught about 10. I'm starting to like it here. By the tracks. We have fish. And the best part is, we haven't seen one walker.

I heard a twig snap and we all held our guns up.

"I got it." I said and walked over to the edge of the woods. I didn't see anything. I turned around and started walking back.

"WALKERS!" Michonne yelled and I turned around. I shot one in the head that was about to bite me. I ran over to the tree and grabbed my bag. I heard a loud scream and saw Paige on the ground with a walker on top of her.

"PAIGE!" I kicked the walker off of her and shot it in the head. I helped her up and she grabbed he things and we started running towards the tracks.

" HELP!!!" I turned around and saw Laci with walkers surrounding her. I shot one but it was to late. One took a bite out of her arms than her neck. Paige had tears running down her face as we kept running.
