- green day

I woke up the next morning in a happier mood than usual. I strolled through the campus while humming to the beat of Arctic Monkey's 'Do I Wanna Know?'. Cassidy casually walked up next to me and gave me a confused look.

"What?" I asked.

"Since when are you this joyful about something?" I laughed, causing Cass to raise a perfectly trimmed eyebrow.

"Since I caught dear old Jenny doing the dirty deed with another man," I said with a large grin.

"WHAT?!" Cass shrieked, drawing attention to us.

"Shhhh! That's not even the best part! I recorded them!"

"Okay, first of all, that is disgusting, Chanel!"

"No, not like that! I recorded the audio of her screaming another man's name," I clarified to Cass who displayed an array of emotions.

"Two years! Two whole f*cking years down the drain! Think about it! That's 730 days and 17,520 hours! And don't even get me started on how many seconds they wasted together!"

Yep, that's Cass for you! She's a genius and a half as well as an expert hacker on the side.

"I wasn't going to. Anyways, I have to go take an exam so goodbye!" I shouted as we parted ways.

"Bye Valentino!" she yelled back. I rolled my eyes and made my way towards the science building.

Entering the large lecture room, I sat next to Stone. Yeah, he got his name for a reason. Stone is the biggest drug dealer on the campus, but he's also great company. He's pretty jacked with bleached hair and ocean blue eyes. Although he smells like pot twenty-four seven, Stone's a pretty nice dude and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes, too.

"Hey, Chanel," he greeted with his head in his hands.

"Hey, Stone," I replied, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just peachy," he smirked.

"Yes because red eyes and fatigue are signs of healthy humans. You look like the physical embodiment of Lisa Robin Kelly in her 2012 mugshot," I teased whilst placing my supplies out in front of me.

"Ouch. I can't help it if I spend my lonely days smoking dope instead of socializing like normal people," he states defensively.

"No, what you need to do is get a girlfriend. I'm not judging you but it's evident that all of your one-night stands are not fulfilling the void in that empty heart. You need to do yourself a solid and commit to a girl who makes you feel different. The good different."

"How the hell do you know I'm single?"

"It's a blessing and a curse," I shoot him a small smile.

"Silence, everyone!," The stingy professor called out from the front of the class. I hate that guy, he was fat and old and bald... which means he's a 40 year old virgin. But still, he decides to punish us every day by assigning us a trillion chapters to read daily.

"As you all know we have an exam today, however I am feeling very generous this morning! I am going to give you 30 minutes to study for the test!" he exclaimed, enabling the students to produce fits of cheers. Just as whispers started to fill the room, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and frowned. Quickly exiting the room, I answered the call.
