Saturday:
I woke up and I got out of bed falling over my bag in the progress which causes me to accidentally head butt the floor leaving a friction burn on my chin. Grazes on my knees and elbows and a bang that shakes the whole room.
I hear hurried footsteps coming closer. Then my dad opens the door in a frenzy, eyes full of fear, face which had lines of worry etched on
"Hey" I say calmly as I get myself up
Dad places me on the bed and he kneels down to he's at my height
"You okay?" He asked me voice full of panic and concern
"Grazes really" I grimace "just stings"
"I bet" dad says "stay here"
I nod and I wait for him to come back, he comes back and he's got the cleaning stuff and plasters. He starts to clear my wounds.
"Really?" I wince
"Sorry" dad says as he puts a plaster onto my knees and elbows after he's clean them
I stand up and I look at the object I fell over
"Don't feel guilty farther" I mutter
"I was the one to leave it there though" Sam frowned
"Was an accident dad" I smile softly as I hug dad and dad hugs me.
"You could've been hurt worse" Sam sighed
"But I wasn't was i?" I say calmly "Let's have breakfast"
Sam nods and he moves my backpack to somewhere safer and something catches his eye in the backpack.
He opens it and sees Neptune. Neptune really is her fave veichle of the service and now that she was getting older he might just ask penny or take her out on it by himself.
He was shaken out of his thoughts by a yell "Dad, theres someone at the door and I can't find the keys"
Sam came running down and unlocked the door.
"Hello Boyce" Sam says "Was just going to get Jones's breakfast and head in to work"
"But if I'm not mistaken and I might be someone was eleven yesterday" Boyce says
I smile. Boyce hands me a parcel why dad goes and cooks breakfast. I open it and I look at it and I pull it out. "What's this sir?" I ask Boyce
Boyce notes my confusion and says "You want to be a firefighter do you not?"
I nod "I do"
"Well, that's a present from the whole of Newtown fire station and I think you enjoy it quite a lot" Boyce says
"What is though sir" I ask
Sam walks in and sees it "You didn't" Sam says
"I did" Boyce says smirking
"Do what, what is it?" I ask
"Well" Sam says "Every firefighter and I'm sure every has been part of the fire cadets Jones"
"Wait what?" I say "But I'm not even out of school"
"Jones" Boyce laughs "You don't need to be out of school just the age of eleven and upwards and it will help you reach your goal"
"Thanks" I smile
Boyce laughs, "Sam I think your oven may be on fire"
"Oh daro" Sam says
"And we don't have a fire extinguisher so calling them?" I say
Sam and Boyce nod as we all get out and Boyce calls them.
