We arrived at the car and then I got in and Charlie made sure I was in before he drove off with Sam in the passenger seat.
"What's wrong with Jones" Charlie asked
"My prop broke and glass went into my hand but was removed and now I can't open my fingers correctly" I say and the men can see I'm in pain. "You really are in pain arnt you?" Sam asks
I nod. "They banged it up for me but the pain just won't go and neither will my stomach ache" but the end of that I add quietly
We stop at a traffic light and tears spring to my eyes. "I get in the back seat after you pull over" Sam says to Charlie
After we drive off after the traffic light turns green Charlie pulls over as soon as he can so Sam can get into the back seat with me. I fall into his embrace and he sits down and does his seatbelt up. "Dad" I cry softly as Sam and me swap seats so I can hold his hand.
"Sorry uncle" I say
"It's alright" Charlie said
Then once we're ready we drive back off. Sam notes that my injured hand is holding my stomach. "What?" I ask
"Your stomach hurting?" He asks
"Just a stomach ache" I say
He nods and then we arrive at the hospital and we clamber out and then I walk holding dads hand and Doctor Harry sees us straight away and sends us in.
