Weekends and sleepovers

I wake up and I'm on the floor?. I hear the office door opens and I just stay still. Sam walks in and smiles at the scene. "Found her" Sam says

Steele pops his head round "You locked me in did ya?" I ask as I get up and I accept the hand of dad.

"Well I did forget you was asleep in here" Sam says

"Okay" I say unconvinced

Steele smiles "Told you she wouldn't be far Sam"

"I'm just very proctective of her" Sam smiled

"And I'm grateful for that" I say

Eariler:
Sam woke up from his bed in the quarters and checked the time 9:45am. He was off duty in fifteen minuets so decided to phone  Jones but he got no reply, it went straight to voicemail. Sam thought she's probably not up yet. She does love her sleep and she is more like her uncle there.

So he got up and made his hair look presentable as it was all over the place and then he laughed. "Now I know way Jones gets her bed hair from" he laughed to himself as he headed to the sleeping quarters of where my room was and he knocked before walking in.

The bed looked untouched and had no blanket on. Weird so where was she?. He paced for a bit and Steele walked in "Everything alright Sam?" He asked

"Yeah" Sam nodded

Steele looked right through him and sighed "It's not J is it?" He asked

Sam shook his head "I don't know where Jones is" Sam says

"Well I didn't see her leave the station so why don't we try your office?" Steele says

Sam nods

Then they walked to dads office

Present:
It's now 10:25am. I get myself ready so I can cook my breakfast. After I have my bread ready I cook myself some sausages before Elvis comes up. "What are you cooking?" He says

"Sausages and then a egg" I reply eyes not going away from the pan as I move the sausages so they don't burn on side

I then take the sausages and place it on a tea towel and cut them in the middle then put them back in to continue cooking them. Then a while later I take the sausages and place them on my bread before I get an egg out and crack it into the pan.

After my egg is ready I place it on my bread and then cut it in half, triangles ways. So I sit down and eat it before I put away in the sink and wash my hands and start doing the washing up. "You don't need to do that" Sam laughs

"I do dad, James isn't coming round to one so I've got a few hours to spair"

"What are you even doing today?" Steele asked as I pass the dishes to Elvis so he could dry them "James is coming round to help me practise for the show next week and then we're having a sleepover" I smile widely

"She's in a show?" Elvis asked

"Yep, I'm helping James as he asked me to help" I say "And I'm always there for my family"

"That you are" Sam says as he remembers the night he had the nightmare. I nod gravely back at him which told him I also remembered. "Anyway, me and James are also having a sleepover so we'll use my bedroom dad" I say

Sam nods. Then I dry my hands on the tea towel Elvis has passed me then I check the clock. 11:20am.
"Phone and keys please dad" I ask

Sam gives to me as I walk past and the I head out and head to the house.

Once I'm in the house I plug my phone in and move my bag into the kitchen by the back door as we rarely use it. Then I have a shower and get dressed ready for James to come round so I take a short nap on the couch.
