chapter 3: before the party

Friday came sooner than expected. Nini
wasn't feeling good. These past days she
barely slept and cried a lot, more than
normally. But her attempts to cancel on her
friends didn't work. Kourtney knew that she
dealing with a lot and just wanted her to have
a good time. So she accepted it, she had to go
to that party.
She put some makeup on and a really cute
outfit. She prepared herself mentally because
she knew what was going to happen. Same as
always: some guy was going to say they
hooked up and some girl was going to scream
at her. She stopped going to parties because
instead of having a good time, she ended
crying herself to sleep. Maybe this time was
going to be different. Maybe.
Ricky didn't want to go. Well, he never wants
to go to parties. He went one time and saw a
fight and then people throwing their drinks on
someone else's head. It was stupid and he did
not have a good time. He put his black leather
jacket and some basic white shirt and left to
E.J's house. It was kinda close to his house
and he knew that if he went driving, they
Would make him the designed driver and he
Wanted to drink something. He wasn't a fan of
getting drunk, but he liked drinking beer with
his friends and laugh. 15 minutes after leaving,
he was already at his friend's house. He was
already tipsy even if no one was there yet. If
you throw a party, you need to be the life of
the party. That was his excuse, Ricky laughed
and grabbed a beer and started talking with
Red, who was his closest friend, and after 30
minutes he realized that the house was
already full of people. Most of them already
drunk. In his short walk to the kitchen, he saw
at least 4 couples making out, 2 people
throwing up and 1 guy crying. It was going to
be a long night.
