*Infinity War and Endgame spoilers*

At this moment, Ricky and Nini were ending Infinity War. They were so far apart that two people could fit there. Ricky, knowing what was coming, got closer to her. They were pretty chatty during the movie, not like they used to, but Nini told him her theories before they started it, and while watching it, she would complain about her being wrong. Now, they've been in silence since Thor's big entrence to Wakanda. You could say that Nini got a little too excited by it and spilled her drink on her shirt, pretty much ruining it. When Ricky got up to grab a tissue to help her, she said, without leaving her eyes from the TV, if you get up, I will murder you. He laughed at first, thinking that her trying to be a badass and seeing her threatening him was the cutest thing he has ever seen. But when she looked at him, he saw how invested in the movie she was, and decided to stay on his place, silently watching how she was at the end of the couch, looking as if she was trying to get on the TV and ready to defeat Thanos herself. He couldn't help but realized how much he actually liked her. He stopped looking at her when he heard her scream.

"You should have gone for the head"

"NO! NO, DON'T DO THIS!" Nini was screaming and in no time she had already started crying, breaking down when she saw Bucky disappeared. That sight killed Ricky, and he couldn't help it but sit closer to her and grab her hand. Pretending to be watching the movie, when actually he was trying to make his heart beat slower.

"Mr. Stark... I don't feel so good" Tom Holland's voice was the only thing sounding on his house. Well, that and Nini' sobs. Both of them breaking Ricky's heart.

10 minutes later and they were staring at the black screen, Nini trying to stop crying and Ricky not really knowing what to do.

"Bowen, if you don't put the next one, in this freaking second, I will leave." She spoke after a couple more minutes of silence. He laughed and followed her order.

Almost two hours later, they were in the middle of the couch, their legs touching, which was driving Ricky insane. He wanted more than anything to hold her and trying to get her to stop crying now, knowing what was coming. They were watching at Steve Rogers getting up and getting ready to fight Thanos' army on his own. We could say that it was the only time Nini actually liked Steve Rogers. When she saw Falcon's entrance she jumped out of happiness and grabbed Ricky.

"HOLY SHIT! OMG PEPPER HAS A SUIT. OMG PETER IS BACK. YES AVENGERS FUCKING ASSEMBLE." Nini hit Ricky's arm in between every word. He didn't care, he was too busy admiring her. He realized it was too creepy and continued to watch the movie.

If you asked Nini how she ended up cuddling with Ricky, with him caressing her hair, she wouldn't be able to answer you. But she wasn't complaining. She could feel his heart, kinda praying for him not to feel hers. She stayed silent for the rest of the battle. When she heard Tony's voice, she softly asked Ricky one thing.

"Can you hug me? I don't want him to die, please." He smiled and held her closer and closed his eyes, resting his head on hers. Knowing that she would cry a lot during the next couple of seconds. She was grabbing the neck on his shirt, as if her life depended of it. She knew it was fictional, but she didn't want it to be over. Because that meant that she had no excuse to hang out with Ricky on her own. She was too afraid to lose him, but the way he was holding her, touching her hair. She felt that maybe, she had a chance.

"I love you 3000" When she heard Robert Downey Junior's voice, for the last time, she broke down. At the end of the day, one of her favorite characters died. She hated crying in front of people, she never cried in front of Ethan, her ex. She felt that if she did, they would see her as someone vulnerable, a target, that she was easier to manipulate. But, with Ricky, it was different, she had been crying for, well, she didn't know how long she had been crying, but he never showed uncomfortableness. He only held her closer. The movie had ended, but they were still on the same position. She had stopped crying at this point, but neither her or him had any plans of letting the other one go, because they felt that if they did, it was over. Maybe it was.

"Ok, yes. It was great. I love the MCU. I can't wait to go home and see fan videos and theories. You are right." She felt him laugh on her head.

"I knew I was right. I'm sorry I made you cry so much."

"It's not your fault. I'm so mad at Russo brothers or whatever their names are. Really? Giving Steve that stupid ending? Making fun of Thor? Killing Natasha and not Clint? They will receive a really angry email from me." She was the first to break their hug, and sitting down on the couch. "And they will have to pay me a new shirt."

"I forgot about your shirt, I thought you were going to kill me if I got up." She looked at him, for the first time in at least two hours, tear stains on his cheeks, her shirt all wrinkled and with wet mark from her tears. He looked as gorgeous as always. She had to fight back the urge to kiss him in that very moment.

"Well, it was the best part of the movie, don't blame me!"

"I will get both of us water, cause we need it. Need anything more?" He said while getting up from the couch. She shook her head and sat there, thinking about the past 6 hours, how natural it felt being that close to him. How his touch gave her electricity. She couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same. Fuck it. She needed to ask him.

Her thoughts were interrupted by his phone.

"Hey, Neens, can you see who is it? My dad said he was going to text me some things." He said from the kitchen.

She grabbed his phone and she felt her heart ache.

Not her.
