Nini and Ricky, even if they spent the whole afternoon together, stayed awake until 2am talking about the movies. Nini making theories and Ricky laughing. It was like they were friends for years, there was no awkwardness in between them. The next morning came as fast as they fell asleep. With only a couple of hours of sleep, both got off bed and started to get ready to go to school. When Ricky arrived he saw his whole group in front of his locker, Carlos was whisper-yelling to Red, Gina had her "bitch face"-as she likes to call it- on, Ash was talking with Seb, and E.J. was on his phone.
"Hey, what are you guys doing? Can I grab my books?" Ricky tried to sound as if he didn't know the reason why they were there.
"We are talking about how, once again, you are on the gossip site! We warned you Rick!" Carlos put his phone on the curly boy's face: Ricky Bowen is indeed the next name on Nina's list.
"l liked her tweet. I can't even like a fucking tweet now?"
"No, you can't! You shouldn't even follow her." Carlos was getting mad, the reason? Ricky had no idea, but he wanted to find out.
"Why do you hate her so much? What did she do to you and Gina? Red, E.J., Ash and Seb don't mind if I like a fucking tweet. So tell me, why do you care so much about it?" Carlos' eyes went as big as they could, Gina interrupted him before he could answer.
"It's not your business. We are your friends, you don't choose some random girl you want to hook up before your friends! Rule number one of friendship, learn it. We won't tolerate this again. Let's go, guys." Gina left, with Carlos behind her. The rest of his friends stayed there, speechless. Until Ash apologized and left, with Red and Seb following her. He didn't blame them. Ash hated confrontation, and he knew how much Gina meant to her. He did not expect E.J. to stay. Before he could talk, Ricky left. He didn't need someone to scream at him again.
