Ricky woke up around 12pm, feeling the warmth of the sun hitting on his face. He tried to move but he was unable to. He had an arm around his torso and legs intertwined with his. He looked down and saw Nini, with all of her hair in her face. He smiled when he started to brush her hair, he left a silent laugh when he saw that when she sleeps, she has a pout. He started to remember last night. How after their first kiss, both of them started laughing. How Nini would play with the curls falling on his neck every time they kissed. Because for the next hour, they must have kissed at least 20 times. The kisses were full of emotion, they weren't rough or desperate, they just needed to be close to the other one. Everytime he would try to apologize again, she would kiss him. And everytime, she would start doubting, he would kiss her to make her forget, to make her believe that everything he said, it was just a piece of all he felt about her. It was around 6 AM when they fell asleep. His mind got interrupted by Nini holding him tighter, starting to groan. He kept playing with her hair.
"Good morning, sunshine."

"What are you doing awake? It's too early, go back to sleep." She said while holding him closer to her, with her eyes still closed.

"It's almost 1PM, Neens. I love laying here with you but...l'm starving."

"5 more minutes."

"Fine. But only 5." He closed his eyes, feeling how he could feel her breath on his chest. Or the soft noises she was making, still very much asleep.

10 minutes later, he started to kiss her head, trying to wake her up. She let out a loud groan and put her chin on top of Ricky's chest, still pouting. He moved to kiss her eyelid softly, making her smile. She opened her eyes, and closed them when the light hit her. She started to blink, getting used to the light. She found the curly hair boy looking at her, eyes full with adoration. She got up and went to the bathroom, but before closing the door she turned around.

"C'mon Bowen, I'm starving! Stop being so lazy and go get yourself ready!"

They decided not to go out today. It was Saturday and that meant all of their classmates were all over Salt Lake. The last thing they wanted was people looking at them, or more drama. They stayed at Nini's, watching movies. They were laying on the couch. Nini's back on Ricky's chest, his head was on top of her, leaving random kisses there, with no reason. Their fingers were intertwined, constantly playing with each other's rings. They were on their third movie when Nini left her position and sat next to him, he moved so he could face her. He knew what was coming.

"So... We should talk."

"Didn't we talk enough last night?" He really didn't want to talk about it again. But she was right, it was all a mess and they needed to clear things up.

"No, we didn't quite talk. Ricky, I was really hurt last night. You told me last minute you weren't going to pick me up because of her, then you spent the whole night with her and then I saw you guys kiss. I know you said that it wasn't like that but, you need to understand me. I can't pretend that everything it's okay and we are in love with no problems. I just- I have all these insecurities and I can't pretend I'm not scared that you are going to leave and make fun of me on Monday. I know that is not you, but-" She began saying, but was cut off by him.

"I understand Nini. Really. But I-" he grabbed her hands, she sent him a small smile, allowing him to continue "I really love you, Nini. I wanna show you that. More than anything. I'll talk with Gina tomorrow."

"Don't. Can we not tell anyone? I mean I don't know what there's to tell but, whatever this is... Can we keep it to ourselves? And our friends, of course." Her voice was shaky, he could see that it was still an open scar, even if they were together now, it was still fresh and hurting.

"Of course we can. And this is-" he gestured in between them "-whatever you want it to be. I'm all in, baby. Slow or now, I'm here." He smiled at her. She moved forward, grabbing his face, placing a soft kiss on his lips. He could feel her smile while their lips were touching. They broke apart, foreheads connected. He never stopped caressing her cheek for the whole kiss, and he never wanted to stop. Maybe because that way, he could feel closer to her. But for her it was completely different, she felt safe, for the first time, she was in the arms of someone she loved.

"So... are you free Wednesday night?" He said, with a teasing smirk.

"I don't know...I should check my agenda, let me see..." She grabbed her phone, pretending to read something there. He waits with eyebrows up, following her game. "I guess I could make a space for you..."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." She said, before kissing him one more time.
