As a painter,
Every stroke of my brush,
every line drawn by my hand can translate to millions of stories.
My colours sprawl over grey worlds, making a difference to those,
who have been accustomed to the shadows. But I am that painter, whose brushes have been replaced by lifeless textbooks,
a far chasm from the soul of my art."Drawing isn't a profession."
As a dancer,
I will stumble and fall, endure pain in every way possible,
but once I am up on that stage, my every step can make you feel in a way you never knew you could.
My eyes tell a different tale, each time you see them open. But I am that dancer, whose stage, once her home, has somehow grown distant, her dancing shoes replaced with shackles of criticism.
"Dance won't get you anywhere."
As a writer,
my words can hurt you, unsettle you but also make you smile and blow your mind, all at the same time.
My words are both, my swords and my shields, those possessions of mine who will never leave my side. But I am that writer, who asks for more experiences,
where the human inside me just screams."I c-can't, please stop."
As an artist,
I can make the entire world my canvas.
But I am that artist, who although rejected by the world,
will still soar the skies,
lighting it up with my dreams
right amongst the stars, the brightest of them all.
