Heisuke stretched her arms as she returned back into the classroom. It was currently recess and Heisuke had been called out to the principal's office regarding the scholarships she could receive for her second year at the Iwatobi High School, off the basis of her scores in the previous year. Heisuke had certainly scored the highest in the national scores.

When Heisuke entered the classroom, she was glad to see that people had moved on from talking about her. They weren't stopping with the stares, Heisuke knew that it would take a few days for them to completely stop that, but at least they weren't talking about her every single second.

"I heard Ama-Chan Sensei is from this area," one of the boys said to his friend. "She went to college in Tokyo and found a job there, but she came back after her dream fell through,"

"What was her dream?" the friend questioned him. Heisuke shook her head at them. It seemed like the boys in their class were quite into gossip as well. Usually, the girls liked to share such information.

"Beats me," the first boy replied to his friend, shrugging. "Maybe she wanted to go into music?" Heisuke sat down in her chair, reaching for her backpack to get the lunchboxes.

"We're supposed to be learning from a woman who became a teacher as plan B?" Haruka muttered as soon as Heisuke was in listening vicinity. "I want to go home,"

"Aw, Haru-Kun," Heisuke said as she reached out and rubbed his shoulder gently. "Ama-Chan Sensei doesn't seem that bad of a teacher... and we don't have a lot of lessons left, do we?"

"So, lunch..." Makoto said as he walked over to them, catching their attention of his two best friends as he held up his bento. "Want to eat on the roof?"

"Let's do that," Heisuke said as she immediately stood up. "I miss eating together at the school roof," Makoto smiled brightly at her and Haruka begrudgingly agreed with them and got up from his chair.

"I didn't bring lunch," Haruka said as he, Heisuke and Makoto made their way down the hallway toward the staircases that led both up and down the building.

"Don't worry, Haru-Kun," Heisuke responded immediately as she held up the bento she had packed for Haruka, tied in a neat blue cloth. "I got it for you, of course,"

"Hei-Chan," Haruka said as he took the bento lunchbox from her. He had not expected her to continue this into the second year. "Thank you," He spared her a quick and small smile to show his gratitude before anyone else saw.

"You're always welcome," Heisuke said, smiling blissfully at him. "Today, there's rice, prawn tempura, breaded cutlet sandwiches, and a few side dishes, of course,"

"That all sounds so nice," Makoto groaned, his mouth salivating at the thought of it. "And Hei-Chan is so good at cooking as well," Heisuke smiled at him next.

"Thank you, Mako-Chan," Heisuke replied. "Maybe I can make some for Mako-Chan," Makoto grinned immediately and nodded eagerly in response to her. "Great! Let's have a bento party sometime,"

"Bento party...?" Makoto asked, stifling his laughter barely. Haruka shook his head at Heisuke but he was slightly amused at her thinking. She was truly strange.

"Haru-Chan! Suke-Chan! Mako-Chan!" a loud boyish voice shouted their names and the targeted three turned around to look down. "It's been forever! I'll be joining you here at Iwatobi High School!"

Immediately, Heisuke, Haruka and Makoto were struck by the person standing on the base of the stairs below. It was not only that the nicknames that they recognised but also the person who uttered them – bright blond messy hair and large magenta eyes, sugary smile that rivalled Heisuke's...
