The following day, Heisuke found herself back in front of the senior teacher in the Faculty Room. Haruka and Nagisa stood on her either side, while Makoto stood at Haruka's right. All four of them had their heads bowed and even Heisuke understood that this was not the time to be joking around anymore.

"Idiots!" the teacher yelled at them. "Do you actually feel bad about what you've done?!" Heisuke, Makoto and Nagisa bowed their heads, and Heisuke pushed at Haruka's back for him to do the same as well. "I didn't expect this behaviour from you, Shidarezakura-San!"

"Sorry," Heisuke, Makoto and Nagisa replied solemnly. Heisuke was a bit more embarrassed this time, though she didn't like being singled out. Was it because she was the only female among them or because she was supposed to be the topper student who just studied all day long?

"First, you trespass in an abandoned building," the teacher continued to scold them. "Now, you trespass in another school's pool?!" He grabbed his head. "Honestly, we're fortunate that they've agreed not to make a big deal of this,"

"I apologise," Heisuke said but before the senior teacher could continue at her, their eyes were distracted by Miss Amakata as she walked over to him.

"Now, now, I think that's enough," Miss Amakata said gently. "There's a famous saying that applies to this situation. In Ancient China during the Shang Dynasty, Duke Tai of Qi would fish without any bait..."

"I hate fish," the teacher interjected. Heisuke looked scandalised and Makoto grabbed the back of her blazer to keep her from possibly collapsing in shock at how straightforward he was with such a declaration.

"Excuse me," Miss Amakata said in a small voice as she bowed her head as well. Heisuke wondered if they would receive a lecture on fish as well but –

"The four of you can leave now," the teacher said, turning to look at the four students. "I don't want to hear of such behaviour ever again. Amakata Sensei, you need to be stricter with them!"

"Let's go," Heisuke whispered to Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa as the three of them quickly walked out of there before they could get any more lectures. The distraction was their opportunity before he returned back at them.

"Ama-Chan Sensei wasn't much help," Nagisa said as the four of them walked down the corridor to return to their classrooms. Heisuke looked up when she felt Haruka's hand brush against hers.

"Hm?" Heisuke asked quietly as the two of them followed Makoto and Nagisa. Haruka just jerked his head to the shoe lockers and Heisuke knew that he was going to leave. "Honestly, Haru-Kun..."

"I wonder how that fish saying goes..." Makoto continued, thoughtfully. "Hei-Chan, Haru, do you know...?" They turned to look around and only saw Heisuke behind them. "Huh?"

"Haru-Kun's heading home early today," Heisuke informed them, a bit worried as she stared after Haruka. He had already gotten his street shoes on and was leaving the school grounds.

"When did that happen?" Makoto asked as his broad shoulders slouched down and his hachi-eyebrows knitted together as he followed Heisuke's gaze to Haruka.

"Ah, Gou-Chan," Nagisa spoke up suddenly. Both Heiske and Makoto turned around to see the maroon-haired girl walking down the corridor toward the three of them.

"I told you to call me Kou!" Gou responded immediately as she came to a stop in front of them. She noticed Heisuke and blushed furiously.

"Does it really matter?" Nagisa asked, and Gou quickly snapped out of her embarrassment of being in front of Heisuke and turned back to him.
