Chapter XXX

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"You should really leave the fighting to me for now, Ed." I said looking and the blonde himself. Ed had his hair down with a white coat on carrying a bag of food we had just went out to get. Ed just knocked out a guy that gave a description of himself that called him short.

"I feel fine, a little irritated now though." Ed said then walked inside the doctor's place and knocked out another two officers.

"You just had to take them all out yourself." The ape said rising from the bed he was sitting on. "Your injuries haven't even fully healed yet." He added.

" I tried to tell him that but he won't listen." I said with a sigh. The guard did give a description of me as well. (F/C) hair, trench coat, mask. They obviously haven't updated their information on me. I was currently wearing a pair of black jeans, (F/C) v neck shirt and an open button up shirt on top of it. My mask was ripped apart during the last life threatening battle so my face was exposed but nobody except for a few people knew what my face looked like.

"Really this is all they are looking for? Guess I will go with this look for now." Ed said looking at the piece of paper. I smiled at him keeping my eyes trained in front of me.

"I actually quite like this look." I said still not giving him a glance. Once we were out in the hall more officers pointed guns at us. The lion grabbed me and pointed his finger guns at my head and the ape grabbed Ed pointing a real gun at his head.

"Stay back or these kids are goners!" The ape yelled then we made a break for it the two muscular carrying us as they ran. We made it outside and they put us down shooting at shingles dropping snow on more officers outside.

The ape hot wired a car, concluding in a speed chase, the military hot on our tail. Ed tied his hair into a ponytail then looked at the cars gaining on us.

"Turn the corner then park the car! I have an idea." Ed ordered. The ape did as Ed said then Ed transformed the car into a slightly tacky looking vehicle. I don't know how to describe it honestly. Once the military cars passed us we got going once more.

"Alright your plan worked, now can you turn the car back?" The lion asked.

"Why? I think it looks cool as hell!" Ed exclaimed proud of the car. I sighed and clapped my hands.

"It may get a little hot in here." I warned then used my alchemy to transform the car back into its original design.

We had driven a good distance from town and pulled over to figure out our next steps.

"So, you two what do we do next?" The lion asked.

I looked over at Ed as he sat on the bumper of the car in thought.

"Well first things first we need to meet up with Al." Ed said.

"Any idea where he could possibly be?" I asked. I could tell by the look on his face he didn't quite know the answer to that question.

'Damn I should have contacted Roy while I had the chance....I haven't heard his voice in so long.' I thought to myself.

We all got back in the car after Ed thought of a place. Ed and I sat in the back seat while the burely guys were in the front. I decided to lay down in the back while we traveled, and rested my head on Ed's lap. Ed looked down at me with a soft smile. Ed ran his fingers through my hair, which was very relaxing. I stared into his honey like eyes and pulled him down towards me by the collar of his shirt.
