The Lost Lady [ON HOLD]

Chapter Four: The Old Dumb Lady

Inside a huge, dark, and dampened cave in the middle of a dense and wild forest, one could clearly hear the rumbling sound from its walls, as if the walls of the cave were about to collapse.

Suddenly, vibrant red lightning came down from the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three consecutive lightning came forth and wildly struck the cave. On that instant, the once huge and quiet cave finally gave in and collapsed into rubbles.

The collapse was too extreme. Not even a huge rock could be seen, only dust and pebbles remained.

Then, out of the rubbles and the smoke formed by a huge amount of dust from the explosions, a man dressed in an azure Royal robe slowly emerged.

There were only ruins and destruction around him, but for some reason, the man emerged without even a speck of dust on his robe.

He came out so perfectly with his long jet-black hair softly fluttering in the air together with his azure Royal robe. With a dangerously handsome face and perfectly sculpted build and physique, the man's appearance was both domineering and captivating on the highest level.

The man lifted his indifferent handsome face, with his pair of piercing ocean-deep blue eyes, he looked towards a certain location ahead of him.

After a few minutes, a man dressed in black appeared in front of him.

The man spoke while on his knee on the ground, "Master, I've come. Your subordinate gladly greets you for your successful breakthrough!"

"Rise. What have you found out about the lady?" asked the man in azure Royal robe, oozing with a powerful aura from his newly achieved rank in enchantment. However, the greetings of the subordinate has been ignored and disregarded.

"Master, I apologize, your subordinate failed to do the task," said the man kneeling on the ground.

The man in azure Royal robe glanced over his subordinate and spoke, "It's been three months and yet you haven't found anything about the lady?" In an instant, an invisible strong pressure coming from the man's aura could be felt.

The subordinate shuddered.

Without paying anymore attention to his subordinate, the man turned and left, but before he fully disappeared, he spoke once again to his subordinate with a voice filled with his enchant energy, "Continue your search."

The subordinate swiftly stood up and bowed towards the direction where his Master went to.

The subordinate didn't waste any second and finally disappeared in the opposite direction from his Master.

Inside a quiet courtyard located at the innermost part of the huge and stately Ranze Manor of the Marquis of Deira, a stunning and beautiful lady dressed in a light and billowy turquoise dress could be seen, lounging comfortably on the soft and cottony couch in front of the well-groomed and trimmed garden.

The lady was lounging lazily as she casually peeled a yellow banana in her hands while looking over the well-groomed garden filled with different pretty flowers in different colors such as carnations, begonias, spider flowers, wheat celosia, petunias and many more.

It could be seen that she was happy while looking over the blooming flowers as they slightly sway by the beckoning of the wind. The sun's warm and bright rays intensified the beauty of each flower, making them even more vibrant and pleasing to the eyes.

The lady sighed in appreciation of the Nature's beauty.

However, as she enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful sight, some thoughts in her mind still couldn't be disregarded.
