Disappearing into one of the rooms in the inner hall of the Wind Auction House, Lena was calmly tapping the small table in front of her with her fingernail. She was glaring at the tea set in front of her as she patiently awaits someone to come for her.
Shortly, after a few minutes, someone knocked on the door.
Lena shifted her gaze and looked at the door as she calmly replied, "Come in."
A staff led a middle-aged man into the room where Lena was currently in.
"Is there anything more this servant can do for you?" asked the male servant.
"You may go now," Lena answered. The staff slightly bowed and went for the door.
The middle-aged man took a seat in front of her without saying anything.
Lena was amused.
"Is this how the exalted Grandmaster usually acts?" Lena asked. It was considered inappropriate for a guest to take his seat without the permission of the host.
However, the middle-aged man who was now seated with Lena inside a room was none other than Grandmaster Chato de Pouvoir.
"Don't get mused with me," Grandmaster de Pouvoir flatly said as he brought out the bottle with a piece of the lost formula inside. It was the same hot item that was being auctioned off just a while ago. "Tell me where did you get this," he said with sharpness in his eyes.
Lena chuckled. "Isn't Grandmaster being funny?" she poured a cup of tea for Grandmaster de Pouvoir, "I am no one but a seller," Lena said, still under the white mask while covered with the dark-blue cloak.
"I am not blind. I saw you back then. You purposely helped to raise the value of this item," said Grandmaster de Pouvoir. "Besides, considering that you've waited for me to meet you, there is no doubt that there is something more under your sleeve."
Hm. As expected of him.
That was right. Lena was one who put the piece of the lost formula as an item to auction it off. And she also personally participated as a bidder to increase the value of her own item. That smart move of hers brought 500 blue enchant stones at her feet in just a few hours.
Besides, this has also allowed her to make a connection with the Black Market. So far, Lena was satisfied with her progress.
"Since Grandmaster de Pouvoir is so upfront, I wouldn't have to beat around the bush anymore," Lena said.
The atmosphere suddenly shifted and the air around became stiff and biting.
"I can give you the remaining pieces of the formula," Lena said nonchalantly.
The hand of Grandmaster de Pouvoir holding the teacup slightly trembled. He quickly put up his defense as he gazed sharply towards the person in front of him.
Back then, during the auction, he already noticed the cloaked person with a white mask. However, that person purposely changed her voice into a man. But now, it was clear that the person in front of him was a woman. But what was more important was that the person in front of him was not just an ordinary person. Besides, for some reasons, he couldn't see through the Enchantment power of the person sitting across him.
And this was an unexpected situation for Grandmaster de Pouvoir.
"Who are you?" he asked with a chilly air around him.
"You don't need to know who I am - yet," Lena said.
"What? Do you take me as a fool -"
"Your brother," Lena picked up the teapot and poured another cup for the Grandmaster. "I knew him."
