A distinct person, who was sitting grandly inside a private room located on the second floor of the slave market building, suddenly stood up and walked out of the room.

Two silver eyes locked onto a man standing outside the room. "Follow the lady wearing black and white clothes. You'll find her at the back of this building," said the man with the silver eyes.

"Your subordinate understands, Master," the man answered and moved right away.

"It seems like we're bound to meet...soon..." A glint of interest flickered in those two silvery orbs of the man in a white robe.

Going back to the General's mansion, Lena switched back to her previous orange dress. After handling the things that she needed to do, it was now time to face the inevitable.

Anjo rushed into her room the moment she just sat down on her chair. The two maidservants prepared her a cold tea, trying to get back to her for disappearing for the entire day, thus, making the General punished them for being foolish of their duties.

That was right, Lena returned just when the sun was about to set down on the horizon.

"Lena! Thank goodness, you're back!" Anjo briefly scanned the now bare-faced Lena, from head to toe, making sure that she was all good.

"Brother, sorry for worrying you." Lena gave Anjo an apologetic smile. She knew that it was also difficult for Anjo if she disappeared all of a sudden without a word.

"As long as you're alright, everything's fine." Anjo gently smiled back at Lena. "You still have time to prepare, now go and busy yourself," Anjo urged.

Lena nodded at him, understanding what he was trying to imply.

To face the inevitable.

Tonight was the set banquet celebration by His Majesty, the King. Arkus was both excited and anxious about the upcoming banquet - excited for the possibility of getting rid of Lena and anxious for any surprise that Lena might bring out.

After waiting for an hour, Arkus was already seated inside the stately Official carriage while Anjo was just outside, still waiting for Lena. In a few blinks, Lena finally came out from the General's Manor. Anjo frowned at her sight. For some reason, Lena was wearing a midnight blue coat, covering her entire self.

Anjo shook off the frown from his face and reached out a hand to Lena, helping her get inside the carriage. Without further delay, Lena climbed up to the carriage and seated across Arkus. Anjo also climbed up after and sat down beside Arkus. A frown also made its way to Arkus' cold and hard face when he looked over at Lena. But he didn't say anything further after giving a disagreeing snort.

At the Royal Palace of the Kingdom of Alyxzandryte.

The welcoming banquet was prepared in a more informal setting than that of ones that could be seen on formal occasions. Aside from a few members of the Royal Family, only the Court's Officials and their families were present in the banquet hall.

A soft humming of the flute fluttered with the wind together with the slightly cold breeze of the evening air. The night sky was illuminated by the golden gleam of the full moon. Only faint white clouds could be seen appearing and disappearing around the illumination of the gleaming full moon. Twinkling and blinking stars could also be seen showing off their distinct charm as they complete the solemn and mesmerizing picturesque of the beautiful night sky.

The banquet was soon to start and the Southern General's carriage has not yet arrived. However, His Majesty, the King of the Kingdom of Alyxzandryte, together with the few members of the Royal family, has already reached the banquet hall. The crowd immediately stood in reverence as they respectfully bow and greet the King on his arrival.
