One week later...

After a long week in a closed-door practicing and meditation, Lena, in her cool and floaty ankle-length blue dress with puffy sleeves, finally came out of her room.

A faint pulsating light could be seen surrounding her as she welcomed the start of a new day.

After a week of absorbing most of the blue enchant stones that she had received from the auction house, Lena managed to increase her enchant energy and raised her enchant elemental powers to the peak of the Intermediate Rank.

Intermediate Rank was just second to the lowest rank among the six Enchant Elemental Ranks - Elementary Rank, Intermediate Rank, Advanced Rank, Elite Rank, Sorcerer Rank, and Enchanter Rank.

A mage's enchantment power could be determined by his/her Enchant Elemental Rank.

Sigh.

Lena sighed in disappointment.

The enchant force in this place is so scarce, that even with the help of many enchant stones, I was just able to reach the rank of an Intermediate, High-Level Mage.

Walking towards the receiving room, Lena saw Libby rushing towards her.

"My lady!" Startled, Lena jolted away instinctively.

With a slight frown on her average beautiful face, Lena asked, "What is it?"

Libby, with both her hands clasped in front of her chest, stopped just a meter away in front of Lena.

"My lady! How have you been?" Libby asked with great delight.

Huh?

"Is everything alright with you? Did you made a progress?" Libby asked excitedly.

"Libby!" A cold-faced Lizzy emerged from the hallway. She was just about to scold Libby for running wildly without paying attention to her manners.

Lena smiled.

It seemed like I gained two sisters of my own.

"I'm fine," she answered.

"Forgive us, my lady, if we have disturbed you," Lizzy bowed down in apology.

"No need to apologize. I've had enough rest for a week," Lena said, entering into the receiving room.

Lizzy threw a glance over Libby upon arriving inside the room. Libby quietly disappeared towards the kitchen.

"How was it?" Lena elegantly sat down on the soft, white couch inside the receiving room.

"The preparations are nearly complete. We have already hired enough people to start the production, as per your orders, my lady."

"That's nice. Good work," Lena said.

Libby walked in with a pitcher of fresh apple juice and some bread. She carefully and joyfully poured a glass for Lena and stood happily beside her sister Lizzy afterward.

"Any news about Grandmaster de Pouvoir?" Lena asked as she took a sip of her apple juice.

"To answer my lady, we haven't found out anything about him and haven't seen even his shadows in this city," Libby answered.

"Mm. I see."

Taking a bite of the freshly baked bread, Lena quietly chewed as her thoughts darted towards the still sleeping beast inside her magical storage.

I'm pretty sure he will appear today...

Lena thought as she remembered what she had said to Grandmaster de Pouvoir before parting their ways back at the Wind Auction House.
