The crescent moon with all its glory and enchanting glow was glimmering in the middle of the night. The stars up above were no match for its charm and majestic brilliance.
At one of the courtyards inside the Great Advisor's Manor stood a bare feet young lady dressed in a floaty white dress made of the finest silk. The gentle wind and the cold breeze of the night made the dress beautifully dance to its whims.
It was already past midnight and yet Lena was still up, peacefully gazing towards the starry night as she hummed a slow and quiet tune.
As her dazzling eyes gaze towards the vast night sky, one couldn't see how shrouded her two hazel orbs had become. They were filled with thick and impenetrable mist. Sadness, grief, longing, and too many questions were hidden behind the grave mist.
How long has it been?
How long has it been since I arrived in this world?
Too many things had happened.
Too many years had passed.
And yet here I am, still wondering if all of this was just a dream...
Slowly sitting down, Lena eventually laid down on the soft bed of grasses. In this way, she was able to have a full view of the starry night sky.
The peaceful night and the cold breeze of the wind made her get lost in her thoughts.
I've had a tragic past...
I wasn't able to live a good life as an orphan before. And then one day, I found myself standing in a different place. I've had a new life.
But still, somehow...it was not all good.
And I just realized it now.
After all the hassle and bustle, was being transported to this new continent is like a new ray of hope in my complicated and extraordinary life?
Damn...
I almost forgot, my life has already been crazy enough, could it even get crazier?
I don't want to put my hopes up and just be disappointed in the end.
However, I've already endured for so long, and this kind of rare opportunity to be able to finally live and breathe...
I don't want it to be put to waste!
I'll get my powers back and live!
I will live my life to the fullest as I do my best to achieve my goal!
Her thoughts made her lips formed a beautiful smile and with her hand reached out towards the sky, Lena's dazzling hazel eyes which were shrouded with a thick mist before, emitted a hue of gold. A glint of light danced across them.
She made a new vow that no matter what, and no matter how crazy her life could be, this time, she would do as she pleased.
A faint fire of hope started to light up from the depths of Lena's heart. It gently sent warmth to her soul as a trickle of water fell from the corners of her eyes.
She quietly sobbed with both her hands covering her face. Then, all of a sudden, she abruptly stood up and jumped towards the roof of the manor using her bit of regained powers.
Lena looked up once again and gaze towards the now more visible starry night. No one could see how her dazzling hazel eyes were now bright and glowing with specks of gold in each orb as she gazed fervently at the vast starry night.
