At the Ranze Manor of Deira, people who were usually quiet, minding their own lives and businesses, were currently not on their usual disciplined behavior.

People were endlessly talking and gossiping about the 'beautiful and dazzling lady' who came into the household three months ago.

For the past three months, a handful of assumptions, opinions, and guesses have already been made about who the lady was, but up to this point, no one exactly knew who could be the lady - whether she was the real daughter of the family or just a pawn of the enemy.

Inside the old Madame's chamber, the said lady was slowly spoon-feeding the old woman who was seated on the bed.

"Mother, remember that you have to eat your fill to regain your strength," the lady gently spoke towards the old woman.

"Don't worry, my good child, mother will now fully eat her fill," the old woman replied, smiling widely with both of her eyes brightly shining towards the lady.

"That's good to know, mother," the lady said, finally putting down the spoon and the empty bowl.

Silence reigned as the lady was preparing the tea for the old woman.

However, the old woman couldn't hold her thoughts at bay any longer.

The old woman cleared her throat, "How are you doing? Have you remembered anything now?" she asked. For the past few days, the old woman was troubled as to why her daughter seemed to not know where she came from, worst, she was found not having any enchant element.

But no matter what, Lydia, the Madame, believed that the beautiful and charming lady was her daughter and no one else.

The lady gently smiled towards the old woman and answered, "No, not yet," the lady shortly answered.

That was the lie that the lady told from the beginning.

She told the old woman and the Ranze household that she didn't know how she ended up to that barren place and the secret room where she was found unconscious.

Of course, not everyone blindly believed her lies, especially Arkus.

But as long as everyone accepted it, whether it is true or not, it didn't matter anymore and the lady won't be bothered about it for now.

The lady continued to busy herself as she poured the old woman a freshly brewed cup of tea.

Just then, two men simultaneously walked into the room. A burly man with a hard and cold grim face and a man with gentle and scholarly vibes on his smile.

The old woman looked up and see her two sons walking inside, "Arkus, Anjo, come and join us for a cup of tea," she called out to them.

Anjo quickened his steps with the usual gentle smile on his face, he asked, "Who brewed the tea? Was it sister?"

"You're right. Your sister did!" Lydia beamed.

"I didn't know sister was so knowledgeable," Arkus butted in.

The lady ignored him as she poured another cup for Anjo.

"Drink up, let me know what it tastes like," the lady beckoned, before deciding to pour one for Arkus as well.

"Brother, come and join us," the lady said, raising the cup of tea towards Arkus.

Arkus didn't say anything and sat down together with the others. But when he was just about to drink up from her cup, the old woman choked up.

"Mother! What is it?" Arkus reacted right away. Anjo just frowned a little, a bit puzzled about something.

"Nothing, my son, it's just that this tea..." the old woman spoke. Arkus glared at the lady, seemingly condemning the lady of something like a crime right away.
