Remi leaned back in the booth as she raised the clear glass to her lips. The rum and sprite fizzled over her tongue before it slid smoothly down her throat to join the two other drinks she had already indulged in.
"I tried," She told them as she became hypnotized by the bubbles in her drink. She swirled it around to create more ensuing chaos. "I talked to him and I said all the things that you guys said to me and he basically told me to fuck off-" She gave a hefty sigh as she set the drink down on her coaster. She looked up at Hamish and Randall with pouted, red lips. Her eyes narrowed as she remembered a misplaced detail. "Oh, wait he also told me that I hated my life before this, then told me to fuck off." Her sour mood made her pick her drink up again to finish it off.
"I say we kill him and get it over with," Lilith leaned forward onto the table beside Remi. She gave the sour wolf a look before her gaze flicked over to Randall and Hamish. "You saw how he freaked out this morning. He isn't saying the oath."
Remi hummed as she tilted her head all the way back to finish her drink. She slammed the empty glass back on the table and looked over to the bar. Triss and an unfamiliar face were behind the bar, but her thirst trumped the premise of talking to someone new.
"I'm getting another drink, anyone want one?" She didn't wait for their answer before she pulled herself from the booth to walk over to the bar. She waved Triss down in hopes that the other man wouldn't get to her first.
"Hey," Triss smiled at Remi. "Another one?" She took Remi's empty glass before she turned back towards the liqour shelves. "Who're your friends? Gotta say, they're cute."
Remi sucked her cheeks in as she looked back at the booth. They all looked mildly broody as they contemplated murder.
"Just some people from a club I'm in," Remi half-lied as she turned back to watch Triss make her drink. When she was done with it she turned back around and slid it over the bar to Remi, who grabbed it and lifted it to take an immediate drink. "Hm, good. Add it to my tab will you?"
"Will do." Triss nodded as she moved over to the register.
Remi turned and slowly walked back to the booth. She set her full glass down first before she pulled herself back into the seat beside Lilith.
"Okay, what did you decide? Does Jack get to live or die? Because at this point..." She trailed off as she picked up her drink.
"Are you that insecure that one little comment about you gets you this upset?" Lilith asked.
Remi shrugged her shoulders as she swallowed her mouthful of liquor. She set her cup down and turned in the seat to look directly at Lilith. "It's not so much that I'm insecure, I just-" She froze and narrowed her eyes as she tried to think of what she was trying to say. "Actually, no you're right. I'm insecure." She turned to sit normally in her booth as she looked down at her glass.
"Right..." Randall cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well, if Remi's cutesty charm didn't do it then I'll give it a go with my boyish wit. He can't keep saying no forever." He gave a confident smile as he looked around the solemn booth. His eyebrows rose as he slapped at the table and stood. "I'll meet up with you guys later. I have a dorm room to break into."
They all sluggishly waved at him as he left. Remi pulled herself up then slunk forward as she rested her elbows on the table.
"I gotta ask... if we do have to kill him... can I be... not there for it?" She squinted her right eye as she looked over at Hamish. "Or is it some sort of, like, team bonding exercise?"
"You gotta be there," Lilith told her at the same time Hamish said,
"We all have to do it."
Remi groaned and let her head fall forward to slam against the table.
