Remi and Randall sat in Jack's dorm room as they waited for him to come back. Remi rummaged through his things in search of food.
"He's a boy! Boys always have food in their rooms," She grumbled lowly as she opened his third dresser drawer. She took out another paper with a sigil on it and threw it on the desk in disgust. "You'd think he would magic some food." She huffed and stood up to look back at Randall. She looked over his fresh penis-free face. She was amazed by how well the marker came off of both of their faces. It just took a shower with lots, lots of scrubbing. "I'm not exaggerating when I say that I am starving, Randall."
"Okay, okay," He walked over her to and laid his hands heavily on her shoulders. "We will go get food after we confront Jack and get him to say the oath."
Remi threw her hands up and moved away from Randall's hold. "Then we'll never get to eat." She paced around his room. "He's never going to say the oath, Randall. Let's face it, he obviously likes magic and using it-" She gestured around his nicely stocked room. "Compared to the hunger and the anger of being a Champion, why wouldn't he pick The Order?"
Randall didn't get to answer her as Jack's door swung open. They both turned to see Jack covered in blood and dirt as he strode angrily through his door.
He stopped cold and looked between Remi and Randall. The frustration was evident on his face, even with the blood and dirt. He slammed his door shut as he gave Randall an accusing stare. "Can you stop breaking into my room?"
"Times up." Randall told him coldly. "Hamish and Lilith are looking for you."
Remi folded her arms over her chest as she tried to keep her anger inside.
Jack grabbed a towel from his bed and started to wipe at the dried blood by his mouth. "Good. Let them kill me."
Remi's eyebrows furrowed as her anger dissipated.
"Woah," Randall held a hand up. "As your RA, it kind of sounds like you're depressed, and this whole look... supports my theory."
"Speaking as a psych student who only has limited knowledge over diagnosing and disorders, I agree with Randall." Remi said cheekily.
Randall snapped his fingers as he pointed back at Remi.
Jack roughly pulled a shirt on over his head to hide the blood on his chest and shoulder. "I just killed my ethics Professor-" He sneered angrily as he looked between the two of them. "I woke up next to his dead body! I'm covered in his blood. I think one of his tendons is stuck in my teeth-" He stepped closer to Randall to show him his teeth.
"Oh yeah, flossing is your friend." Randall delivered with a smile.
Remi perked up as she moved to her backpack on Jack's, dead roommate's bed. "I have some floss," She said eagerly as she unzipped the front pocket of her backpack. "I also have a toothbrush if you-" She turned back to look at Jack. "We're in your dorm, you have your own toothbrush." She shook her head as she looked back at her bag.
"Is... she serious?" Jack whispered as he and Randall watched her dig floss out of her backpack.
"Oh yeah, she is crazy about oral hygiene." Randall gave a wide grin as he watched her in amusement. "It's cute right? Sort of crazy, but cute." He ticked his head as his grin widened.
Remi pulled out the small travel-sized container of floss and turned to hand it to Jack.
"I don't need floss!" He shouted.
"Hm... I think you do." She disagreed. "Just take it. I have more back at my dorm."
"Of course you do," Randall laughed and shook his head. She nudged him with her elbow as she kept looking at Jack. "Dude, just take the floss."
