"GUYS. I'm supposed to have a bass solo there." Calum whined.
"Calum. We already told you. We cut out your bass solo because we thought it would take away from Michael's guitar solo, which is much more important." Luke explained.
"Um. NO. I'm getting a bass solo wether you like it or not."
"Stop being a bossy bitch" Michael scoffed.
"You would say the same thing if your guitar solo was being taken out." Calum stated.
"Um actually no I wouldn't. Because I would agree on what's best for the band." Michael argued.
"Guy's cmon." Ashton stated.
"Look, Michael I-"
"IM SORRY CALUM I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE SIZE OF YOUR EGO." Michael taunted.
*BA-DUM TSS* Ashton played on the drums.
Michael smiled, feeling proud of himself, while Calum stared at Ashton and shook his head.
Luke spoke up. "Calum your not getting your bass solo, that's the end of this conversation, ok?"
"You guys suck." Calum stood and took his bass off of himself. I'm going to make a coffee.
As Calum left, Michael spoke up. "Well looks like that's the end of another sucky "Calum being a bitch again" rehearsal. I'm ordering a pizza, you guys want anything? Like the Italian breadsticks? Those are so good. You know what I'm ordering those too. The bread is so fluffy and the cheese is melted and the whole breadstick is just flavored perfectly with garlic and-"
"Michael!" Luke yelled. "Snap out of it dude."
"Oh sorry." Michael apologized. "Uh, I'm ordering a pizza, you guys want anything?"
"I'll take one of those mini sausage pizza's" Ashton replied.
"I guess I'll just split your pizza with you." Luke suggested.
"Heck no. Sorry Lucas, I'm eating that entire thing by myself are you kidding me? I'll get you a second pizza though."
"Nah that's ok, I'll go order Chinese food." Luke replied.
"Omg Chinese sounds so good right now." Said Michael. "Ok scratch that, I'm getting Chinese."
"But I wanted pizza!" Ashton whined.
"Order your own damn pizza." Stated Michael.
"Ugh fine." Ashton complained.
"Um what's the number for the Chinese place again?" Michael questioned.
Down in the kitchen area below the stage, Calum was mixing his coffee and creamer. I walked in and decided to talk to him.
"Hey Calum. You look upset. What's wrong?" I questioned.
"That stupid band took away my bass solo." Calum whined.
Oh no I just walked in on Calum's diva mode.
"Listen," I replied. "They have a reason and that's all that matters. You have to choose what's best for the band, not you." I tried to calm him down, and I guess sweet talking was working.
"But what if it's a stupid reason." He claimed.
"I'm sure it's not ok? Now go out there tonight with your head held high, and give your fans a good show. Ok?"
"Ugh, fine." He whined. "I guess it doesn't matter anyway. At least I'm part of this stupid band."
"That's the spirit." I replied.
Calum took his coffee and left for the green room.
As I cleaned up Calum's coffee mess, I realized that Calum just showed a soft side he hasn't showed in years. He acts like this tough, thick person who isn't afraid of being hurt, but maybe he is. I started to feel bad for him.
Maybe he's misunderstood.
